⚡️What is Identity?⚡️
Who we think we are… is not who we truly are.
Most identities aren’t chosen—they’re formed. Constructed quietly over time by a brain wired for survival.
“I’m not good enough.”
“I’m the strong one.”
“I’m the helper.”
“The fixer.”
“The one who’s always fine.”
Stories like these aren’t truth—they’re safety. They are survival mechanisms wrapped in personality.
They’re the mind’s way of making sense of fear, pain, rejection, the need for love, the play of power.
They keep us small, contained, predictable.
But they also keep us cut off from the very thing we long for most:
Aliveness.
Because when we start to dis-identify from the story—
When we soften the grip of “I am…”
When we stop performing a version of ourselves just to belong—
Something extraordinary happens:
Life rushes in.
Not the numb, flat, performative kind.
But the real, raw, vibrant kind.
Unscripted. Sensuous. Holy.
The kind that moves through breath, body, feeling, energy.
Underneath the performance and protection is something far more real:
A deeper, more fluid self.
A presence.
Pure life, meeting itself.
You are not your personality.
You are not your patterns.
You are not the story.
You are not the mask.
You are the space the story appears in, you are what remains when they fall away.
Pure presence. Pure life. Pure becoming.
