🔹What successful outcomes tend to have in common
🔹How his approach to investing has evolved over time

Yesterday, we brought together investors, founders, and ecosystem leaders for The Early-Stage Investment Summit in London.

From insightful keynotes to candid panel discussions, the Summit explored the forces shaping early-stage investment across the UK - from AI-driven deal flow and diversity in venture capital, to strengthening the pathway from angel to institutional investment.

Some standout takeaways included:
🔹AI continuing to drive an increase in first-time deals
🔹The critical role of investor diversity in unlocking capital for underrepresented founders
🔹The need for stronger alignment across angels, VCs, and institutions to support scaling businesses
🔹How Innovate UK is building frameworks to identify high-potential companies where intervention can meaningfully change their trajectory
🔹Insights from the Praetura x Par Equity merger on collaboration, culture, and regional growth

A huge thank you to our speakers, attendees, and partners for making the day such a success - and to Innovate UK, Kin Group, Michelmores, and Barclays Demo Directory for their support.

The conversations don’t stop here - we look forward to continuing them at our upcoming symposium in April.
