In training and development, we care for the people who are our service users and support our own people to develop their careers and gain qualifications. Our ongoing investment in staff training and development is vital to the services we provide. It ensures that the people we support can rely on high-quality care, service continuity and the retention of experienced and highly skilled staff. This covers topics such as health and safety, customer care, diversity issues, personal hygiene, first aid and care standers. Before any of our new care workers can carry out their own care visits, they shadow an experienced member of the team. Their skills are kept up to date with regular refresher training and there’s always a team of people back at the branch who can provide extra support. We want our employees to commit to us for the long term, and gaining further qualifications is a big part of that. When it comes to training and development, we’ll support you every step of the way.

For Kickstart Scheme:
We are looking for a cheerful Office Assistant and Support worker to join our busy care management office. This will suit someone looking for either their first office assistant role with little or no office experience but someone who will be willing to learn as training will be provided.
No qualifications required but would be good to have GCSE Maths and English or something similar.

Job: 25 hours per week
Age: 16 to 24 years
Payment: £8.91 per Hour

Kickstart Scheme is open to 16–24-year-olds, who are claiming Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment. If you have a work coach through universal credit DWP, they will talk to you about the Kickstart Scheme and whether it’s right for you.

Nubah Social Care Supported Living provides cost-effective, affordable, residential living and support services for 16 to 65-year-olds and older and need assistance. Supported Living residents can live affordably and independently in an environment where personal choice, dignity, privacy and individuality are emphasised. Supported living allows you to live independently and have control over how and when you receive support. We can support you in achieving your goals, such as becoming an active and resourceful member of your local community.

We are extremely proud of our front-line colleagues' care Hero’s up and down the country and very moved by the stories of extraordinary dedication and support that we hear every day especially during the COVID 19 pandemic.
