THE ART OF MILKING in an Indian village. Calves are kept separate. The appropriate calf is made to feed on the mother’s milk just for a few minutes. Great joy. The mother’s hormones are released and the milk begins to flow abundantly. Then the milkman milks the cow very quickly, giving her a bowl of oat to keep her distracted. The calf is then pulled away ( painful to watch) and tied to a pole away from her mother’s sight.
This goes on everyday.

My Charity Clinic in The Himalayas makes the Himalayan Tea which is popular amongst my patients in London. It’s tasty and beneficial.
The Rhododendron flowers, rich in antioxidants, are collected in April at an altitude of 8000 ft. The White tea, Holy Basil, wild mint etc are collected by our villagers and dried on the roof of the clinic.
I am looking forward to receiving a fresh batch of the tea next week.

With Prof. Romashoff, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, where I was a student in Moscow. He was a leading heart surgeon but his passion lay in Clinical Fasting, Iridology, Tongue Diagnosis and Yoga. I was fascinated by his work ever since he gave his inaugural lecture to us titled “ The future of Medicine” where he spoke about scientific research in ancient traditional medicine and its importance.
That’s how my journey began in Integrated Healthcare in 1974.

This Vogue shoot took 3 hours to complete. The suits, shirts, ties, shoes were brought in from Armani, Brionij Hugo Boss etc for me to try and then I had the make up. Didn’t recognize myself at first. The Photographer must have taken about 200 shots and then selected this one in my consultation room by the screen.

Child with Cerebral Palsy, could not walk at all. After two weeks began to walk with support. After 25 days, he has begun to walk independently . There is more improvement to come.
