12th April 2026 beloved wife of Patsy, loving mother of Liza, Deane and Patricia, mother-in-law of Tommy and Aidan, devoted grandmother of Thomas, Darren, Daniel, Erin and Matthew, a cherished great-grandmother and dear sister of Ann, Martin, Mary and the late George and Margaret.

Eileen will be reposing in her home, 44 Ivy Terrace, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 - 10 pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.30 am for 12 o'clock Requiem Mass in St Columba's Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.

We, the family of the late Kathleen Donnelly (Conway) wish to express our sincere gratitude to our family and friends who sympathised with us on the loss of a much loved wife, mother, granny, sister and friend. We will forever remember the kindness and support shown to us at this incredibly sad time.

Special thanks to all the healthcare professionals for the compassionate care Kathleen received, especially all the staff of ward 22 Altnagelvin hospital.

Thank you also to those that sent mass cards and sympathy cards and for all the beautiful flowers.

A special thank you to Fr Steven Ward for such a beautiful ceremony and also attending Kathleen at Altnagelvin hospital.

Thank you to all who were involved in the mass the readers and for the beautiful music, supplied by Damian Mc Adam’s and Bethany Doherty.

To those that provided refreshments and support at the wake and funeral, we are extremely grateful for all the acts of generosity and kindness. We would like to particularly thank Margaret and Edel who went above and beyond to ensure all went smoothly.

We are so grateful to Bishops Gate Hotel especially Katie, for hosting the beautiful funeral lunch for Kathleen.

Francis will be reposing in his home, 57 Elm Grove, on Monday and Tuesday from 1 – 8 pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 1.20 pm for 2 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. A private cremation will take place later.

KATHLEEN PHILOMENA (PHYLLIS) LEONARD

11th April 2026, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice after a short illness, late of 92 Cawhill Park, Derry and Nottinghill Gate, London. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Rose, devoted sister of Rosaleen, Dora and the late May, Eileen, Frank and Frances. A loving and supportive aunt to her nieces and nephews and wider family. Fondly remembered by a circle of dear and close friends. Her compassion, quiet strength, warmth and humour will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.

All are welcome to pay their respects at W J O'Brien & Son's Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Sunday from 3 - 5 pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road, Waterside, Derry on Monday at 1.30 pm. A private Cremation to take place at a later date.
