đż International Womenâs Day
Today, on International Womenâs Day, Iâm taking a moment to acknowledge the strength, resilience and complexity of womenâs lived experiences.
In my counselling work, I sit alongside women navigating so many layers of life - grief and loss, career changes, motherhood, identity shifts, relationship endings, caring responsibilities, burnout, and quiet questions about who am I now? Behind every role and responsibility is a whole person with a unique story.
International Womenâs Day is not only about celebrating achievements; it is also about recognising emotional labour, unseen struggles, and the courage it takes to ask for support.
From a person-centred perspective, I believe each woman already holds the capacity for growth and healing within her. Sometimes whatâs needed is a safe, compassionate space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with that inner strength at her own pace, in her own way.
If today brings pride, celebration, exhaustion, anger, grief, hope, or a mix of all of them, your experience is valid.
You deserve to be heard.
You deserve support.
You deserve space.
đˇ If youâre feeling ready to prioritise yourself this season, Iâm here to listen.
