Had a fun evening bouldering at the Depot Climbing Centre. I was surprised to see that BMC members are entitled to £500 towards osteopathy appointments! I'm biased but that one VERY good perk.

We can help you with any climbing injuries (shoulder, elbow, wrist pain, finger pulley strains etc) and get you back to doing the thing you love!

Over the last few weeks, I've been treating people both before and after their ski trips - pre-season prep for those heading out soon, and post-trip recovery for those nursing sore knees and backs.

I'm just back from skiing myself, and honestly it showed me how tough it is on your body! (This was my first time skiing as you can tell 😂)

Whether you need to get slope-ready or recover from your trip, I can help.
Ski trip planned (or just finished)? Book now - link in bio.

I love using acupuncture as part of my sessions.

Some conditions I've found it's great for include: headaches/migraine, rotator cuff pain, knee arthritis, and plantar fasciopathy.

99% of the time it's painfree, with the occasional ache or tingling sensation.

this is a great movement for improving mobility in the shoulder and mid back.

use it as a warm before exercise or slow it down and hold each position for longer after training

After I climbed Ben Lomond, enjoyed the fog, and filled my face with a Sunday roast I decided to make a reel with a few hill walking tips.

What are your top tips?

Just finished a fantastic acupuncture course with the British Medical Acupuncture Society!
Acupuncture had been shown to be a safe and effective treatment for neck, shoulder, back pain, migraine headaches, tendinopathy, overactive bladder, amenorrhea, and many more!!
We also used electroacupuncture, and ear needling.
Looking forward to using in clinic!

The month of November brings Movember where MoBro's around the world shave their faces to grow silly moustaches!
I, with some other osteos will be raising money to support men's health (particularly those undergoing treatment for prostate cancer and those with mental health difficulties).
I've added the link to the funding page if you're wanting to support this great charity!

"To rest is to prepare to give the
best of ourselves, and to perhaps, most importantly, arrive at a place where we are able to understand what we have already been given."
David Whyte

Last weekend spent in the Lake District was a great reminder that you do need to take time for yourself. To do something fun or even a duvet day watching films!
Check your diary - book a Friday off in the near future and enjoy some time for yourself.
