Somehow, I blinked and it's now been ONE YEAR to the day since 'QUACKS' was published 😮🥳!

I just wanted to take a moment today to say a huge THANK YOU - to everyone who's bought a copy, hosted me at / come to a tie-in event, and generally supported me on this publication journey; it genuinely means more than I can say. The last 365 days has been an incredible whirlwind - a handful of the photos I've taken along the way help make up the mosaic you can see below.

I must, of course, give a special shout out to my publishers, Cranthorpe Millner Publishers Ltd - thank you for being such fantastic creative partners, and for helping make this all possible!

Ever since I first saw one of his The Room Next Door videos (where he portrays a political adviser, on that occasion attempting to ‘coach’ Boris Johnson as the latter dubiously claimed - with unintentional hilarity - that he spent his spare time painting wooden crates), I’ve been a big fan of the brilliant Michael Spicer.

Michael kindly listened to the Audible version of ‘QUACKS’, and shared his thoughts with me: “It’s not normally the sort of thing I listen to but I did find it very entertaining and your narration was very warm and absorbing”.

I had a fun time earlier at the annual Long Eaton duck race 🐤🏁. With Anatidae-related paraphernalia everywhere you looked, how could I resist 😉?
