We are aware of a recent post circulating on social media regarding our practice and a named GP.

While we cannot comment on individual patients or circumstances due to our duty of confidentiality, we take all concerns about patient care extremely seriously.

We are reviewing the matter in line with our complaints procedure and will respond directly to the individuals involved.

If you have any specific concerns about the care you or someone you know has received, please contact the practice directly so that we can investigate fully.

We would respectfully ask that any discussions take place through the proper channels to ensure an accurate understanding of events and to protect the privacy and dignity of all involved.

I am so sad to be leaving Long Stratton after eight and a half years. I will be moving to a GP practice in Norwich and haven’t hung up my stethoscope as yet. It feels like a lifetime ago when I first started here. The practice and indeed the whole country have been through such a lot since then. None of us will ever forget living through the Covid pandemic and the extraordinary circumstances we all faced – I was so proud at how our community pulled together.

I will miss all the staff at Long Stratton very much – but also my wonderful patients. I have felt very lucky to serve as your GP – it has been a real privilege. I am very sorry I have not been able to say goodbye to you all personally, but I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you the very best for the future.
