What an incredible and productive year. From developing new skills and growing my clinic, to meeting so many new people and embracing fresh challenges — I’m feeling deeply grateful to be exactly where I’m meant to be.

My granny is age 91, still bright and going strong. Life has proven not to be easy for her with back pain, hip osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and multiple stress fractures in her spine. But she still moves freely and enjoys doing things she truly enjoys.

Top 5 things keeping her healthy:

1. Daily exercise. Granny really likes her mobility exercises she has practiced over the past 30 years (!). She recently benefits more from weight-bearing strength exercises for hip osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
2. Diet rich in protein and veggies. Granny always emphasises the importance of home-grown and home-made foods.
3. Regular manual therapy.
4. Daily studying. Granny still does daily studies of math and history and still helps her great-grandchildren prepare for exams!
5. Family! More time with family is better!
