✨ How to Help Maintain Your Zen Between Reiki Sessions ✨
One of my favourite things to hear after a Reiki session is: ‘I feel so much lighter and calmer.’
That feeling when you get up from the Reiki bed is just beautiful 😍
But as incredible and healing as Reiki is, it’s only one piece of the jigsaw when it comes to supporting our mind, body, and energy.
If you leave your session feeling refreshed, but then return straight back into stress, overwhelm, and chaos, it’s natural for those feelings to feel like they fade quicker.
Self-care isn’t a one-off action (although I wish it was sometimes!).
It’s the small, consistent things we do every day that help us maintain balance and wellbeing between sessions.
Simple habits can help make such a big difference when practiced regularly:
🌿 A healthy, balanced diet-Nourishing your body with good food helps support your energy, mood, and overall wellbeing.
😴 A good sleep routine-Rest allows the body and mind to reset, heal, and recharge.
✋Healthy boundaries around stress-Protecting your peace and learning to say “no” when needed is one of the most powerful acts of self-care.
🌳 Spending time in nature-Fresh air, sunlight, and grounding yourself outdoors can calm the nervous system and lift your energy.
🎶Doing things that bring you joy-Whether it’s reading, music, creativity, movement, or simply laughing -fun and joy are hugely healing
📱 Filtering negativity (My Non-negotiable) Being mindful of constant news, gossip, or social media overload can help protect your energy and mental clarity. Try reducing your exposure and see how much of a difference you feel once you stop allowing all that in. Swapping the news and time on social media for positive and uplifting audiobooks or things that light you up and inspire you can make a huge difference♥️
Reiki can help guide your body back into balance -but the little things you do daily help you stay there 💫
