Undeterred by yet more snow we're out and about in Elgin and the local area supporting the Scottish Ambulance Service where we can. You've got Mike and Becca on until midnight who are both very grateful for the heated seats in the car.

As ever, we couldn't do what we do without the support of Shirlaw's Ltd who provide our wheels, brought to life by the decals from Vinyl Vision Moray.

Good evening all!

A cold, misty night in Moray tonight, but the team are on duty. Mike and Becca have been on standby tonight, quietly providing support to Scottish Ambulance Service.

Mobilised to one patient tonight, the RAF Lossiemouth team offered their skills to assist an ambulance crew in one of the more 'rural' parts of the county. That's why we do what we do!! The county is vast and there is a large area to cover so we were able to travel to our patient and offer support till other ambulance staff could arrive.

Thanks to the volunteers who quietly go about their duty... hopefully you'll never need them, but they are there should the worst happen!!

Home for a brief visit and some further TLC, our sponsored vehicle returned to Aberdeen today for an annual service at Shirlaw's

The team from Shirlaws have been working in partnership with the Co-Responders at RAF Lossiemouth and Scottish Ambulance Service Community Resilience team for almost 3 years now, or even longer if you look back to the SAS Wildcat days. During that time they have ensured that both the cars we've had to get us to our patients are always in the best condition. Without them... it isn't possible.

It would be a long list to name them all, but thanks to Mark, Chris, Keith, Rory, Liam and all of the team at Shirlaw's. We look forward to working with you for years to come.

And... they have some pretty good deals on motorbikes too!!

Two of our team had the privilege of meeting HM The King during his recent visit to RAF Lossiemouth.

During the brief interaction Gav and Becca spoke to His Majesty about how the team of military volunteers, in partnership with Scottish Ambulance Service and Shirlaw's Ltd, support members of the local community when they dial 999/111 in an emergency.

There is a lot of time and dedication from the team that goes into maintaining this service and it is thanks to the volunteers, and organisations that support us, that we can do what we do, when the community needs it.

At the weekend, our staff, students from Robert Gordon University volunteers from RAF Lossiemouth Co-Responders, and Buckie Wildcat Community First Responders came together to attend the Moray Blue Light Festival and inform the community on their work, including tours of the ambulance and CPR demonstrations.
