Dearly beloved husband of Wilma, much loved son of May, dad, granda, dear brother, brother in law, uncle and a good friend to many. Allister’s funeral service, to which all are welcome, will be held at 1.30pm on Monday, January 26th, 2026, in Lossiemouth Baptist Church and thereafter to Lossiemouth Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to charities close to Allister’s heart can be made at the church door, if desired. Allister will be very sorely missed by us all.

The family of the late Christopher (Chris) wish to express their heartfelt thanks for all the support shown through cards, flowers and messages following their sad loss. A special thanks to Stephen Cottage Hospital for caring for Chris with great care and attention in his final days. To Kirsty Williams for the beautiful, comforting memorial service, to Rustic & Roses, Dufftown for providing the wonderful flowers, also Annie’s Wee Catering Co for such delicious funeral teas. The family are especially grateful to Graham J. Rattray and his team for all their guidance throughout and finally sincere thanks to all that attended to pay their respects to Chris and their generous donations that raised £700 for the Stephen Cottage Hospital and the Memorial Hall.

James, passed away on Friday, 2nd January, 2026, at Abbeyvale Nursing Home, Elgin, aged 79 years. James was a quick witted, charismatic and enthusiastic conversationalist. He was also a man of good heart, strong intellect and courageous constitution who stayed true to himself. In his younger years, he was a passionate football player who coached and encouraged youth teams. In later years, he discovered a passion for biking. He was an avid motorcyclist who explored different countries and enjoyed meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. Born and raised in the southside of Glasgow, his interest in different lives and landscapes led him to the Highlands in his 60s, where he made his home in Lossiemouth and spent the remainder of his years in Moray. A much loved father, he is survived by his children Andrea and Brian. James's funeral is private at his own request.
