📢 We are thrilled to announce that we entered into an agreement and a long-term collaboration with Touchlight technology for the development and manufacture of new dbDNA vaccines and therapeutics across a broad range of indications.

Under the stewardship of Dr Ian Thompson, a global leader in vaccines, Ceva and Touchlight will pursue a broad-ranging development programme to bring innovative DNA vaccine products to market for animal health.

This partnership brings together our world-leading development and commercialization capability with Touchlight’s best-in-class dbDNA technology which enables rapid, high purity enzymatic DNA production and eliminates antibiotic resistance genes.

At Ceva, the well-being of our companion animals is our top priority.

This year, on International Hug Day, we want to take the opportunity to love our pets by raising awareness about the importance of respecting our cats’ and dogs’ boundaries when it comes to physical interactions.

While hugs may seem like a natural expression of affection for humans, it's important to recognise that not all animals feel comfortable with being hugged or restrained.

For many cats, being held off the ground can cause stress, as they naturally value their independence and sense of control. As for dogs, contrary to popular beliefs, this notion also applies for most of them, who are often uncomfortable with restrictive gestures. It is typically the result of our lack of attention to their body language. Nevertheless, such discomfort can lead to anxiety and in some cases, make them act out aggressively towards their owners.

As animal well-being experts, we strive to foster the bond between humans and their pets in a way that respects the individual needs of each animal. By understanding and respecting their needs, we strengthen the incredible bond we share with them.

We were delighted to welcome Hounds for Heroes to hear Allens story and how this specialist charity began. Their assistance dogs are invaluable to support those who have served in the armed forces and emergency services.
We’re very much enjoyed lots of cuddles with ET and Flanders too!

Our global commitment extends across Europe in France, Sweden, Hungary and all the way to Australia! where we collaborate with partners who share our vision of providing assistance dogs to those who need them most.

🙌 Today, on Pan-African Women's Day, we celebrate the tireless, strong, and resilient women who are the backbone of across Africa. In Africa, women play a vital role in ensuring , sustainable farming practices, and the well-being of their communities. At Ceva, we stand for these incredible women who make a monumental impact on agriculture every day.

🌍 Among Pan-African women are farmers, the guardians of our fields, the nurturers of our livestock, and the stewards of our natural resources. They manage diverse tasks, from planting and harvesting to caring for animals and conserving the environment. Their knowledge, dedication, and hard work drive progress in agriculture and ensure that food reaches our tables.

📊As the backbone of the sector, they represent 52% of the total population in agriculture and are responsible for around 50% of agricultural work on farms in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Reports show that in some African countries, women devote around 60% of their time to agricultural activities - over 60% of women working in the SSA work in the agricultural sector.
