Hello 👋🏻 It’s been a while. I hope everyone is settling into the new year. My fav day of Jan so far has to be the snow day last week 😍

I wanted to pop on to say THANK YOU to everyone who attended my classes/events last year. A few personal highlights for Causeway Yoga in 2023 have been:

✨ Starting the year with a yoga & aromatherapy mini retreat morning with the lovely Arlene from

✨ Sharing Tuesday morning yoga in the beautiful surrounds of Drenagh Orangery

✨ Yoga Brunches with delicious food at and ❤️

✨ Hen party and Birthday yoga 👰‍♀️🎂

✨ A yoga and pottery collaboration with the very talented

✨ Joining the team at to share some very special yoga practices by the river

✨ Hitting the road to take yoga to a lovely group of ladies from in Newry!

✨ Delivering mindfulness sessions for the NHS

✨ Winter candlelit classes - creating cosy vibes and space to slow down and relax 🕯️

I’ve thrown myself into my yoga teaching journey over the last 15 months and I’m grateful for the wonderful opportunities I’ve had to develop myself as a new teacher 🙏🏻

I’m taking a little break for a few months for teaching regular classes. I’m taking some time out for myself & I’ll be reflecting on the direction I want to move in 2024 🤍🧘‍♀️

I will be working away in the background…balancing my private therapy practice with my personal yoga practice, the long list of books I want to read and training courses to complete 📚☺️

An evening of deep rest 🤍

Thank you to everyone that joined me for my first restorative yoga class this evening.

I loved sharing this deeply relaxing and nourishing practice focused on releasing layers of tension, calming the nervous system and cultivating a sense of inner peace and calm.

I’ll be offering two more restorative practices in November on Wednesday 8th & Wednesday 22nd at 7.30pm.

“Relax, retreat, repeat!” (feedback from a lovely lady on our retreat morning 🥰)

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our ‘Cosy into Autumn’ morning retreat 🍁

Our hearts were full after spending the morning with the loveliest group of ladies.!

The day included some relaxing yoga, healthy treats, learning lots about aromatherapy, creating roller balls and inhalers and finished with a delicious healthy lunch from Rule 32 🤤

I am so looking forward to sharing these practices with you 🤍🧘‍♀️

Join me in October for three cosy 75 minute yoga practices by candlelight.

An invitation to slow down, rest with intention, restore and deeply relax your body and mind 🤍

We will explore a different style of yoga each week, all known for their healing and calming effects on the body and mind and we will finish each practice with a restful and restorative yoga nidra.

The perfect practices for these Autumn evenings 🍂

The studio will be open 15 minutes before class. You are welcome to arrive early to settle into your mat, enjoy a complimentary cup of warming ginger tea and connect with fellow yogis 🫚

Suitable for beginners.

Price: £12 per class or £32 for the block of three classes.

Whilst I finalise my Autumn schedule I am delivering one lovely, nurturing class next Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

Join me for a cosy 75 minute practice by candlelight, beginning with a mindful slow flow to help release the energy of the day, and finishing with a restful and restorative yoga nidra to help your body and mind to fully relax.

‘Cosy Into Autumn’

🍁 Embrace the changing seasons as we transition into Autumn with our half day retreat. Autumn invites us to slow down and can be an opportunity to reflect and let go.

🧘‍♀️In the studio overlooking the River Bann we will come together for a yoga practice to deeply nurture and nourish your mind and body. Our yoga practice will be a gentle Hatha, Yin and Restorative session aimed to release tension and slow the turbulence of the mind. This will be combined with mindful movement, meditation and breath work, leaving you feeling calm, grounded and relaxed… ready for the season ahead.

🌿We will then guide you through an Aromatherapy workshop. You will learn more about the power of essential oils, exploring which oils can be useful to support you in Autumn and then create your own personalised roller ball or inhaler to take home and enjoy.

🥙Refreshments and brunch from Rule 32 are included along with a little Autumnal goodie pack to take home.

🍂This workshop is suitable to anyone new to yoga or aromatherapy.

I’m delighted to invite you to join me for my next Yoga Brunch at the beautiful Loughan Marina ✨🤍

This month I’m super excited to be collaborating with the lovely to offer a beautiful morning of yoga, brunch and a guided canoe trip on the river!

What's included:

🥃 Warming ginger tea on arrival.

🧘‍♀️ A gentle hatha yoga flow (suitable for anyone new to yoga). Mats & props provided or bring along your own mat.

✨Guided Relaxation - to cultivate a sense of calm.

🍲 Brunch - Enjoy a delicious brunch from Rule 32 Brunch includes a drink of choice, lunch bowl or overnight oats and a sweet treat of choice.

🤍 Connect - time for chat & building connections with like-minded people whilst enjoying a beautiful river view.

🛶 A 1 hour guided canoe trip on the River Bann. Soak up the views and enjoy this form of mindful movement on the water. Buoyancy aids are provided. No wetsuit required as you will stay dry for this activity!

Today I’m celebrating 1 full year in self-employment! 🎉🎉

I had wanted to become fully self-employed for a long time but always found a reason (or excuse!) not to. I’m so pleased I finally took a leap of faith! I’ve never worked harder and I’ve also never been happier or more fulfilled in the work that I now do 🤍 (it’s not all beach walks and coffee 🤣)

The main side of my self employed business when I’m not teaching yoga is working as a CBT therapist. I’ve built a successful private therapy practice, focusing on the work that lights me up and I have had the privilege of working alongside many amazing clients across the UK & Ireland to support them with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Since qualifying as a yoga teacher I stepped outside of my comfort zone and have been sharing yoga over the last 10 months in some gorgeous locations across the North Coast which has been such an absolute joy ✨🌅

I’m taking some time today to reflect on the highs & lows of the past year (keeping things in balance!).

Alongside building my therapy and yoga businesses I’ve more recently been renovating an apartment with my husband ⚒️🏡

I’m now taking a few weeks off from teaching my regular classes to step back, recharge and take things at a slower pace 🤍

I’m looking forward to what the second year of my self employed journey has in store!

I will be sharing details soon of my autumn/winter yoga offering 🍁

In the meantime I have 2 lovely events to share with you for September. Details will be shared later today 🧘‍♀️

I am SO grateful to each and every single person that has showed up and joined me for a yoga practice over the past 10 months. I’m excited about continuing to develop as a yoga teacher. THANK YOU for being part of my journey over the past year 🙏🏻✨

There are 6 classes left to book with me at Loughan Marina in August before I take a little break from my regular classes🧘‍♀️

Join me for the remainder Wednesday evening or Friday morning classes in August:

Wednesday at 7pm: Gentle evening flow
Wednesday at 8.30pm: Sunset Yin and Yoga Nidra
Friday at 7.30am: Rise & Flow (45 mins)
Friday at 10am: Yoga & Coffee

I’ll be taking a few weeks off at the start of September for a staycation (Marley is super excited about lots of sunrise and sunset beach walks 🐾😍)

I’ll also be heading down to Dublin for some more training (always a student! 📚) and planning my offerings for the rest of year. Feedback and suggestions welcome 🤍

I won’t be disappearing completely during my time off as I will have another yoga brunch coming up on Saturday 9th Sept! 🤗

We started the morning with fresh ginger and lemon teas, and a little chocolate treat, had a gentle yoga practice and relaxation, followed by delicious food from Rule 32 and great company and chat 🤍
