Here are some interesting facts about feet:

Bones and Joints:
Each foot has 26 bones and 33 joints, which contribute to the flexibility and mobility of your feet.

Muscles and Ligaments:
There are over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments in each foot, working together to support your body weight and enable movement.

Nerve Endings:
The feet have a high concentration of nerve endings, making them very sensitive to touch and temperature.

Sweat Glands:
Your feet contain about 250,000 sweat glands, which can produce up to half a pint of sweat per day.

Walking:
The average person walks about 10,000 steps per day, which adds up to 115,000 miles in a lifetime.

Foot Growth:
Babies' foot bones are primarily cartilage when they are born, and they only fully harden around the age of 21.

Foot Size:
Foot size and width can increase over time, with the average American shoe size having increased by two sizes in the last four decades.

This week we celebrate two years at MEADOW LANE FOOT CLINIC. What an amazing 2 years!
Thank you again to Mr & Mrs Grainger, Julie, Nick & Brian, I couldn’t have opened without you. Another big thank you to Lisa Haynes and Jo Hutchinson, who has been such an amazing addition to the clinic. We are very excited to welcome Ashleigh Preston, who started with us this week on our 2nd Anniversary. Our brilliant team is complete.
