By studying our Level 5 Diploma, regulated under the governance of OFQUAL, you’ll be eligible to practice as an MNU Certified Nutritionist™️ under our bespoke insurance policy in over 35 countries including Australia, America, Canada, Ireland & the UK.

Having insurance allows you to put everything you've learned on MNU into practice i.e. assess clients’ food and nutrient intake & subsequently design personalised nutrition interventions, recommend supplementation when needed & create bespoke meal plans where appropriate.

After qualifying as an MNU Certified Nutritionist™️, you can apply all the advanced nutritional principles and client behavioural practices you will have learnt with the peace of mind that you are fully insured & protected to do so!

When we launched MNU almost 9 years ago it was primarily designed for those who wanted to work for themselves. It caters perfectly for those who want to set up an in-person nutrition consultancy or online coaching business.

Many did the course to improve their current offerings by adding specialist nutrition services.

Some did it to up-skill on the various knowledge gaps that are prevelant in mainstream university teachings!

What MNU did not cater well for in the early days, was those who wanted to get a salaried position.

Now 9 years on with the reputation of MNU now being so highly regarded worldwide & the course being listed on the Register for Government Regulated Qualifications as a Level 5 Diploma.

We are regularly fielding job opportunities for businesses specifically hiring MNU Certified Nutritionists™️!

So, whether you're a Doctor, Dietitian, Nutritionist, PT or even career changer, MNU could benefit you!

MNU Full with Honours is our premium course option and, as a result, is limited to just 50 places per intake.

As a Full with Honours student, while you’ll learn the same core Level 5 Diploma course content as your Full Online peers, you’ll also get to attend two in-person residentials; the Body Composition Residential and the Case Studies Residential.

The dedicated residentials are what make the Full with Honours course so prestigious. They provide the unique opportunity to practice and hone your newly-developed knowledge and skills in a non-pressured environment, with professional feedback, scientific guidance and problem-solving expertise.

Whilst studying the full online course you can expect daily tutor support and interaction within the student support group, weekly lectures, quizzes and homeworks, all delivered through our state-of-the-art academic learning platform and community group.

Once the content has been released each week, it’s available for the remainder of the course, meaning you can revisit lectures at any point to revise and help consolidate your learning.

The Mac-Nutrition Collective Story

Mac-Nutrition was founded in 2008 by Martin MacDonald, BSc MSc PgDip RNutr. Initially a small nutrition consultancy delivering high end performance nutrition services. Overtime it grew in to a nationally known consultancy with a highly sought after, year long, internship program, providing innovative and expert advice on optimal health, clinical issues, weight loss, sports performance and workplace wellness. In 2012 the Mac-Nutrition weekend Mentorship began and quickly became a ‘must do’ Mentorship for health and fitness professionals at all stages of their career. Many industry leading names and educators travelled from all over the world to attend this intimate weekend of Mentoring. In 2016, Mac-Nutrition Uni was born. Initially this was designed with the aim to improve the standard of nutrition education in the UK. However, it is now the world's first ever 12-month, evidence-based, online nutrition course that can be completedbe completed alongside fulltime work, from anywhere in the world! Supporting students in over 35 countries on 6 continents around the world. Alongside MNU, The Mac-Nutrition Mentoring Lab was born: A continuing professional development platform, supporting the knowledge, practice and businesses of those in the health and fitness industry. Saving them time, amd making them more money doing the job they love!
