The Spring COVID-19 vaccination programme is now live. If you are eligible, you can book now via the NHS national booking system or by calling 119.

✅ You are eligible if you are:
• Aged 75 or over (including if you turn 75 by 30 June 2026)
• A resident in an older adult care home
• Aged 6 months or over and immunosuppressed / have a weakened immune system.

From April, in addition to those aged 75-79, those aged 80 and over can get the RSV vaccine. We will be holding a catch up campaign and inviting our eligible patients - however you do not need to wait to be invited, please call reception on 01509 508412 to book your appointment.

290 patients failed to attend their appointments for the last month.
This equates to a total of 66 hours of wasted clinical time resulting in 3 hours per day.

There are a number of ways to cancel your appointment; via Systmonline, NHS or Airmid app and by speaking to one of our receptionists.

The Gynaecology Clinic at Leicester General Hospital is holding a clinic offering cervical smear tests for anyone who is overdue.

It will be held on Saturday 9 May from 9:00am until 3:00pm.

If you wish to attend, please try to take your smear invitation letter with you.
