Update from EDSO Congress from CEO Chris Ratcliffe.

Hello and good morning!

We are here in Germany for the European Deaf Sports Organisation Congress today.

Yesterday we had an workshop to review and amend the EDSO constitution and improving the governance.

We also had a fantastic site visit in Hanover, Germany for next year's European Deaf Youth Games.

I hope some young deaf athletes from Great Britain will come and compete!

England Deaf Golf announce Deaf Women and Girls Golf Hubs. ⛳

Having successfully applied for Sport England and National Lottery funding, England Deaf Sport have been leaping into action to set up golf hubs around England.

The first four hubs are already set up, with another two to follow.

Fiona Brookes from England Deaf Golf told us;

'I discovered golf over the last three years and I am addicted! I want to encourage other deaf women and girls to join.
With the funding I hope deaf women and girls can get together in the hub groups and start to support each other.'

The current hubs are in Surrey, Peterborough, West Midlands and Hertfordshire. You can find more details on the slides or contact development@engladndeafgolf.co.uk to learn more.
