The sad reality of the times we are in. It is vital that we show our support and fight for all clinicians in the NHS, including physiotherapy workforces/services across the NHS.

The CSP is warning of the consequences of cutting physio roles and rehab centres as NHS trusts across England face drastic budget measures.

Yes, you read it right!

Not acceptable for all the practitioners caught up in this, resulting in a loss of income and inability to practice.

Not to mention the direct implications on patient care, which resulted in many patients having their appointments cancelled.

Huge failure by the regulator.

Thankfully I am registered to practice for another two years 😅

As we continue to learn about Covid-19 and the long-term impacts on public health, one thing we know for certain, is that the road to recovery isn’t always straightforward.

This short animation published by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP, 2020) illustrates what Physiotherapists advise many patients can expect when recovering from Covid-19.

It is important not to feel worried or discouraged, particularly if it takes a while to get your energy levels and baseline fitness back.

However, if you have had Covid-19 and have concerns regarding your recovery, it is important to seek professional help. We are here to support you, your rehabilitation and your recovery.

If you wish to discuss your individual needs further, then please get in touch.

A post from our lovely customers Kamlesh Samji and Anita Samji

The firemen who just put this fire out asked if we could post this.

Mountsorrel field behind the leisure centre, at the back of the field opposite the pavilion, someone has set fire to something inside a tree. The tree was axed in order to put the fire out and the crew will need to return later this evening (Monday 21st at 5.45pm) in order to reassess. If anyone spots it smouldering then they should notify the fire brigade.
There are a lot of youths hanging around but we couldn’t identify who had caused the fire. Shame on them for ruining a beautiful tree!
