Chris Mears Health & Fitness Loughborough Sports Injury, Movement and Weight Loss and Specialists. Function Fit specializes in functional fitness and life/performance enhancement.

This may be to gain a competitive edge over others in the sport of your choice or to improve your day-to-day quality of life. We focus on sport specific fitness, GP referrals, weight loss, pre and post operation fitness/ rehabilitation, pregnancy fitness and nutrition. We aim to provide high quality training specifically designed to your requirements within the Loughborough and Leicestershire area. We provide a number of services depending on your needs, this may be to lose that extra bit of weight, increase your fitness, rehabilitate from an illness or injury or even to learn a new skill. With our main area being functional fitness, we will help to reduce injuries and improve performance. This could be within a sporting context or just simply to improve your day to day life. Our sessions can be led in your home or outside depending on your preference as we look to escape the gym. All sessions are varied and fun to make your targets that bit easier to achieve. The areas we focus on are:
•1 to 1 personal training
•Group Fitness Sessions
•Exercise Referrals
•Tennis Coaching
•Nutrition and Session Plans.

We all know sleep is important, but it still amazes me just how powerful it really is.

A solid night’s rest helps you exercise more effectively, make smarter food choices, manage pain, sharpen your focus, and keep stress levels in check. Yet, despite all these benefits, sleep is often the first thing we sacrifice.

Would you like to transform your life by losing 15kg in just 3 months?

This lady took total control of her own health this spring and the results have been remarkable.

Improved blood sugar markers and now feeling far more energetic have been just two of the remarkable results that she has seen happen in just a short space of time.

Today marked the completion of the Cancer Research July challenge of running 62 miles and the best bit was George completing the challenge with me at my dad’s tree in the crem.

My dad always used to tell me to go for a run as I would enjoy my sport more. After all of my resistance back then it is funny how years later that’s become my job, encouraging people to move more as they would feel better for it.

Here at Chris Mears Health & Fitness, we start with your individual needs and goals, whether that’s toning up, weight loss, injury rehabilitation or training for a specific event or sporting challenge.

We follow up with a personalised training programme, some expert advice and lots of support and encouragement. We definitely keep clients accountable, but do it with a smile!

With our programmes and services, you won’t find any short cuts or bad science. Instead, you’ll learn about your body, form new habits and, most importantly, have fun.
