The festival will take place from 11th to 14th July at the beautiful Mellor’s Woods in Shepshed, Leicestershire.

Last year's hand shadow puppetry performance by Drew Colby ( ) at the Surya Rhythm Festival was truly astonishing. Pictures can’t capture the incredible vibe—it was amazing! He brought so much laughter and joy to us all.

This year's edition will be held from 11th to 14th July at the beautiful Mellor's Woods in Shepshed, Leicestershire.

•Surya Rhythm Festival Reunion. Dance for the baby edition•

Catch up, dance and celebrate the upcoming arrival of Karolina & Paul's gift into this mad mad world of ours with the Surya Rhythm team.

Expect the usual shenanigans with like-minded people, a great sound system, quality tunes, some lights, and maybe even a smoke machine thrown in for good measure. ☀️Surya Rhythm Festival 21-24th June ☀️

Last but by no means least, we are delighted to reveal the 3rd and final Surya Rhythm co-founder: the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Karolina Kozera . To us, she is one of Leicestershire's finest. Her sound therapy sessions, yoga teachings, and beautiful nature cannot help but touch you in the most delightful way.

Since discovering yoga over a decade ago, her thirst for knowledge, hard work, and openness to all things holistic have led her on an incredible journey that knows no end.

As well as being the host, she will be opening the festival with a Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) practice, to put a spell on this ridiculous weather we are having 🤪 On Saturday she will deliver two sound baths: a Gong Sound Bath at 11 am and a special Sound Ceremony at 4 pm. The ceremony will feature all of her amazing vibrational instruments, along with her voice and some lovely guests.

Recent events have led her to start wearing bigger clothes, to accommodate some precious cargo - a gift of life, somewhere where most of us came from a long time ago 💛💛💛

Karolina is at her happiest when in nature. To have music and dance as well, only enhances her love to feel connected to people in the true raving spirit.

☀️Join Us at the Surya Rhythm Festival | June 21-24 🌞

We are happy to announce that Agnieszka & Artur from Ananda Flow will be joining us as a last-minute surprise at the Surya Rhythm Festival. Their classical Indian music will beautifully complement our International Yoga Day celebrations. They will perform at the opening ceremony on Friday evening and will also play a concert on Saturday at 1pm in the Tea Garden Tent. We can't wait!

✨Ananda Flow is a duo inspired by classical Indian music, sacred songs, and mantras from around the world. They blend acoustic instruments such as the tabla, harmonium, tanpura, guitar, and bansuri flute with digital sounds. They will present their original music from the album "Ecstatic Ragas" as well as some well-known mantras in an acoustic version.

🌞Surya Rhythm Festival 21-24 June🌞

The wonderful Tomek () will grace us with his presence for the live music Sunday session at this year's Surya Rhythm.

A talented musician and all-round gentle soul, Tomek's passion for the last 34 years has been enjoying every moment of playing music on the piano. He says it's the best instrument in the world—quite difficult to carry around, but in our new digital world, we can have amazing realistic sounds. This is what he would like to share with us.

☀️Surya Rhythm Festival 21-24th June Programme☀️

We are extremely lucky and ecstatic to have Amber and her UV-reactive dome crew to light up our Surya Rhythm Festival. You will be able to participate in musical jams, arts and crafts, as well as body painting and temporary tattoos. See the full programme in our separate post, and swipe left to see the pricing.

Amber started her journey of colourful UV body paint when she was bed bound from a broken foot, much like Frida Kahlo she used her temporary disability as a creative force, covering herself in UV paints and surrounding herself in tapestries. This slowly evolved into providing for house parties and then festivals. In 2023 she evolved that creative passion into a festival space, to bring the art into a fourth dimension. In her own time she wanders the peak district foraging and learning from nature and the elements, weaving that wisdom into illustrations, body painting and temporary tattoos. She decided to make her own UV body paints so as to make them a better consistency and more natural, as well as using the Jagua fruit extract sourced from the Amazon Rainforest as a natural tattoo stain, similar to Henna but rich and blueish black lasting over a week.
