Bromakin is a specialist manufacturer and supplier of mobility products from the leading brands. Established in 1983 by World record-holding Paralympian, Pete Carruthers, Bromakin Wheelchairs has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected names in the industry. Following an accident that left him with C7 tetraplegia, Pete, a keen sportsman, was eager to adapt his E&J style wheelchair into a more ergonomic design, before moving on to develop his own bespoke racing wheelchair. From there, Bromakin was born, and the range of sports wheelchairs continued to grow with the addition of wheelchairs for basketball, rugby, and tennis. Over the years, Bromakin Wheelchairs has diversified to cover all types of mobility equipment including manual and powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, handcycles, disability exercise equipment, daily living products, and accessories. The Bromakin showroom in Loughborough is one of the largest mobility showrooms in the UK, allowing customers to try the range of products before they buy. In addition, Bromakin also offer customer assessments and bespoke customisations, ensuring customers get the right option for their requirements every time.
