It is a specialist EMI Unit dedicated to providing care to both younger and older adults with mental health needs including challenging or complex behaviour who require twenty-four hour nursing supervision and personal care in a safe and secure environment. It can also provide EMI care to younger adults with mental health disorders from 35 years and upwards. The integrated Day Centre facilities provide additional space for residents who may need shorter placements i.e. 4 – 6 hours. The transport links within the University Town of Loughborough, are very well supported by road, rail and public transport.
