This year marks a special milestone for Loughborough Crematorium on Leicester Road — 65 years of serving the community with care and compassion. To honour this anniversary, Dignity Funeral Services (who operate the crematorium) are introducing several new enhancements:

🌸 New Flower Stall – Fresh blooms now available on-site, thanks to a partnership with a local florist.
☕ Coffee Cabin – Enjoy quality refreshments in a peaceful setting, provided by an independent coffee vendor.
⛪ Chapel Refurbishment – A full renovation co-designed with 18 local funeral directors, creating a more welcoming and respectful space for families and visitors.

📅 Save the Date: Saturday 30 August, 10.30am until 2.30pm

A special Open Day is being held to celebrate the completion of these improvements and the 65th anniversary. Expect guided tours, meet-and-greets with the crematorium team and local funeral directors, a showcase of their fleet, and refreshments.

On Sunday 13th April, Gracie Ellis tragically took her own life, aged 20 years.
Gracie was a dearly loved daughter to Tarnya, Greg and Claire. A cherished sister to Shannon, Ashton, Riley, Jake and Darren. Devoted partner to Toheed and an adoring auntie to Elodie and Lola.
Gracie will always be greatly loved and deeply missed by many, extending beyond immediate family.
Gracie's funeral service will take place at Gilroes Crematorium on Thursday 8th May 2025, at 3pm.
