Remember, athletes have a responsibility to check the anti-doping status of their medicationâť•

Whether it's painkillers, hay fever tablets, inhalers or any other medication, athletes should:

✔️SEARCH the medication on Global DRO to find out if it is permitted or prohibited in sport.

✔️If the medication is prohibited, CHECK if you need to apply for a TUE (Therapeutic Use Exemption). Use our TUE Wizard online to determine whether, when and who to make the application to.

✔️If required, APPLY for a TUE, submitting all relevant medical evidence. Ask your doctor for support with the application.

The National TUE Pool sets out which athletes are required to apply for and obtain a TUE in advance of starting treatment with a prohibited medication or method: https://brnw.ch/21wUkll

The next generation of athletes are competing at the European Youth Olympics Festival this week for Team GB. Good luck and thank you for supporting clean sport.

UKAD's pre-Games anti-doping education has been provided to all Team GB athletes and their athlete support personnel attending the Festival.

Major Games anti-doping education is an important step in an athlete's journey to a Major Event, reminding them of why clean sport matters, their rights and responsibilities and the specific rules of the Games.

All supplements, whether they're labelled 'all natural' or don't list any banned substances in the ingredients, run the risk of containing prohibited substances.

If you, or athletes you work with, do decide to take supplements, ensure they are batch tested and that the batch number is recorded.

Find out more about the risk of supplements on our Supplements Hub đź”— https://brnw.ch/21wOe22

This pre-season, don't let one of your teammates bring the team down.

If they're taking steroids or Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs (IPEDs), they're not in it for the team and they could cost you your team's future results.

Tell UKAD, and know that your achievements in the season ahead are due to your hard work and 100% you.

This Disability Pride Month we wanted to highlight some modifications that disabled athletes can access during the Testing Process.

- It is your right to have a representative present and we strongly recommend this.

- You have the right to request a modification to the process. This includes:

➡️ If you have a visual impairment, you can ask the DCO or your representative to read aloud and confirm the details on the Doping Control Form to you

➡️ If you have a physical impairment, you can ask your representative for assistance with the sample provision

➡️ You can request your representative or Doping Control Officer (DCO) to assist with sample division (e.g. pouring the sample and sealing it into A/B bottles)

➡️ If you are unable, your representative can sign the Doping Control Form on your behalf

If you need further assistance or have queries about modifications to the Testing Process, speak to the DCO and they will provide further information and guidance.
