The steps to check your asthma inhaler or the anti-doping status of any other medication ⬇️

1️⃣Search the medication on Global DRO
2️⃣Check if you need a TUE by visiting UKAD's TUE Wizard
3️⃣If you need to apply for a TUE, submit the relevant documentation to UKAD (visit UKAD's Medicine and TUE Hub for a guide of how to apply)

You can also use UKAD's newly launched Asthma Inhaler Calculator, to see if your inhaler is permitted in sport at its prescribed dosage✅

We’re proud to announce that UKAD has officially signed the Charter for Employers Positive About Mental Health by Mindful Employer, reinforcing our commitment to support the mental health of our staff across the organisation.

Mindful Employer is a UK wide initiative run by Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Providing employers with easier access to professional Workplace Mental Health training, information and support.

The British Olympic Association, British Paralympic Association and Commonwealth Games Associations for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have signed a new Clean Games Policy, developed in collaboration with UKAD.

The policy ensures all athletes and support personnel representing the UK at major international competitions will receive comprehensive anti-doping education.

Anti-doping education is already underway for the upcoming Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games 🏅

Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) are a class of Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs (IPEDs), and are prohibited in sport.

There is a large amount of dangerous and misleading information online about SARMs. Not one SARM has been approved by any medical agencies for human use, with safety cited as one of the concerns surrounding these products.

SARMs may also be found within supplements, so it is important to remain vigilant. If you choose to use supplements, ensure they are from reputable brands, certified (and batch tested) by risk minimisation programmes, and check the batch number online before taking them.
