Loughbrickland Clinic Loughbrickland Clinic is dedicated to the diagnosis & treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, leg, knee, hip, shoulder, neck & spine all under one roof.

Loughbrickland Clinic has a team of highly trained physiotherapists & podiatrists dedicated to the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic also offers video gait analysis, acupuncture, laser & ultrasound. We also have an in-house lab for adjusting orthotics, insoles & footwear onsite. Clinics take place in the evenings, Saturday am as well as during the day. The clinic has full time secretarial cover Mon-Frid 9.30am-6pm & on a Sat 10.30am-1.00pm with free ample outside parking just off the A1.

An injury that Tom, our Sports Therapist regularly sees in clinic is tightness in the upper back/shoulder. The injury causes pain across the top of the shoulder, around the shoulder blade and into the neck.

Initial signs and symptoms include:
• pain in the shoulder area
• pain when sitting in a static position
• pain on looking over the shoulder

Initial signs and symptoms include:
• a sudden onset of pain on either side of the ankle
• swelling on either side of the ankle
• pain or difficulty walking
• pain on movement of the ankle joint

Book your ear check at Earwaxclinicni where an ENT nurse practitioner will examine your ear. If there is wax present it will be removed manually or with microsuction. On occasions where no wax is present, you will be provided advice and further investigation if this is what you require. Located in Loughbrickland Clinic.

An injury that our Sports Therapist would see regularly in clinic is muscular pain in the lower back. The injury causes pain in the lower back and sometimes can radiate into the hip.

Initial signs and symptoms include:
• pain on bending or twisting movements
• pain when getting up from a chair or out of bed
• pain which eases with heat and movement
