At Woodland Grove, we absolutely love celebrating our residents' birthdays, turning each occasion into a joyful family affair filled with unforgettable memories!

Recently, we pulled off a surprise beach trip for our resident Lionel, creating a day full of laughter and fun.

We also celebrated a milestone for one of our fabulous Lifestyles team members Tracy who turned 60—though she has the energy of someone half her age!

Let’s not forget our wonderful resident Frances, who just celebrated her incredible 99th birthday!

A huge shoutout to all our lovely residents with birthdays in August; we can't wait to celebrate with you and make even more amazing memories together!

Every year, our Green Committee embarks on an exhilarating field trip to connect with inspiring companies that share our passion for sustainability and are committed to enhancing the future.

This year, we had an unforgettable experience at Denbies Wine Estate! We wandered through breathtaking vineyards, indulged in an exquisite wine tasting, and capped off the day with a delightful traditional afternoon tea.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, valuable insights, and unforgettable moments.

Our team can hardly contain the excitement for Green Week this September, where we’ve got an incredible lineup of activities planned at Woodland Grove, come to visit.

We are thrilled to announce our exciting new collaboraACE Activities - project of VAEFect Grange Farm CentreGrange Farm Centre!

Over the next few months, we'll be working together on a variety of engaging activities with our residents and their clients, including cooking.

We're also partnering on various green initiatives that promote sustainability.

Plus, ACE Activities will be part of our Eco-Fair on September 6th, where they'll showcase their handmade products and hostinteractive workshops.

This month, our residents embarked on exciting virtual journeys, thanks to -time experiences. They explored vibrant cities like New York, serene beaches in St. Lucia, captivating landscapes across Africa, Cuba, and much more.

The activity was a hit, especially among residents who love traveling or those who've never been to such incredible places before.

We're thrilled to announce that our Virtual Reality sessions will be making a grand return at the Eco-Fair on September 6th.

This month's cooking class was truly fantastic! Our residents eagerly learned how to make delicious sausage rolls and vegetarian feta spinach rolls, step by step.

They cherished the opportunity to spend quality time together, reminiscing about the good old days when they used to cook these treats at home.

The cooking classes we host aren’t just about creating tasty dishes—they’re about sharing stories, enjoying new recipes, and making memorable experiences together.

What an exciting day the residents enjoyed with our lifestyles Tracy and our dedicated carer Kerry!

They had a fantastic time at Southend, relaxing on the beach and splashing in the water fountain installation and play at the pier.

Plus, we celebrated Lionel's birthday with a wonderful surprise from his daughter and son, who met him at the location to make it extra special!

The resident looks forward to going on another trip.
