We were delighted to be approached by Jenny who is a local teacher who worked with her class to make twiddle muffs for the community.

They were assisted by Judith who worked closely with the children to design and produce the most gorgeous muffs.

They personally visited Woodland Grove on Saturday 10th January to give out the muffs to those living with dementia.

We thank them on behalf of our residents who absolutely love them. Jenny and Judith were also delivering some to the local hospital and the ambulance service.

Today, we celebrate the legendary King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, who would have turned 91 today! To mark this special occasion, our lifestyles team organized a fun Elvis music bingo game, where residents eagerly guessed songs and marked their bingo cards. Happy New Year! At Woodland Grove, we uphold our cherished tradition of kicking off the year with an incredible performance by our talented James and his bagpipe. Residents always look forward to this special moment, as James's lively music fills the entire floor. The bagpipe's powerful sound allows everyone to enjoy the performance comfortably, with James walking around so all can join in. One of our Scottish residents especially treasures the performance, as it reminds her of her hometown and brings back wonderful memories. We eagerly anticipate seeing James perform again next year! The residents were delighted by a wonderful surprise visit from Thomas Willingale School. The children captivated everyone with their storytelling of the Grunch who stole Christmas, creating a warm and interactive experience. What an exceptional day we enjoyed yesterday despite the weather! Our Santa’s reindeer from J&C Popsys Reindeers visited Woodland Grove, bringing delight to our residents, some of whom eagerly stroked them. Although it was rainy, we still welcomed many visitors. We are thrilled that the ACE Activities - project of VAEF joined us to celebrate this special day and shared wonderful moments with us. A heartfelt thank you to all the family, friends and residents of Woodland Grove for their generous donations of new toys for the Pearly Queen toy appeal. We were delighted to hand these over to Teresa today for a special Christmas delivery to local children in our Community 🎁🤗

We had such a heartfelt afternoon with our wonderful residents.

We shared a special outing where they enjoyed ice skating together, creating new memories and experiences.

Everyone cherished the moment, and there was a sweet touch of kindness with chocolate kisses for each of them ❤️.

Thank you to the lovely people at Braintree Ice Rink who welcome and help us to make this special for our residents
