Every week we have a visit from Dakota and Melinda.

Melinda and Dakota are a from Therapy Dogs Nationwide and they give us their time and services here at Meadows Park.
They come in every Thursday afternoon and go round all the residents and offer them some one-on-one time to chat and share memories, also, Dakota gets lots of fuss from our residents, so she doesn’t mind waiting around while everyone is catching up.
Thank you so much for giving us your time Melinda and Dakota, it is Very much appreciated.

🌷🌼 Blooms of Joy at Meadows Park! 🌸🌻

We had a wonderful start to our morning here at Meadows Park when Morrisons generously donated a bouquet of beautiful flowers for our residents to enjoy. Our excitement was palpable, as the Garden Room buzzed with creativity and joy during our flower arranging activity. ✨

Residents had a fantastic time selecting and arranging colourful blooms, discussing their favourite flowers and even sharing gardening tips. Now, each corner of our care home is brightened by their artistic flair — making Meadows Park even more homely and welcoming.

Here at Meadows Park, we take staying active very seriously, so every week we are joined by Be Great Fitness, they are a great company who come into our home and get the residents moving, no week is ever the same. The lovely Ellie comes in and starts with a simple warm up and then gets everyone going with some great games and exercises,
the residents really benefit from these visits both physically and mentally. So, this week it's a massive shout out to Bailey and the guys at BE GREAT FITNESS.

would like to take this opportunity to thank this amazing bunch of people, who in the pouring rain faced a number of obstacles that were filled with mud and dirty water, they were climbing ropes and crawling through tunnels, all in aid to raise money for Cancer Research. The team did so well and managed to raise an Amazing £831.31 for the Charity.
So, from us to you, thank you.

This weeks meet the team is Ragul Sellaiah. Ragul has been at
Meadows Park since September 2022 where he joined our night team.
Before this he worked for a company called Apex laboratories ltd in Research Development for 3 years, Ragul also spent some time working as hospital management, in the inpatient and outpatient control department. Ragul is a hard-working, compassionate person and we are so pleased he is here with us at Meadows Park.
Ragul is also expecting his first child with his wife Akila at the end of the year, so we wish them both all the happiness that comes with a little one. The staff here had some lovely words to say about Ragul……...
