🌼 Out and About Again! 🛍️☕
Some of our lovely Residents enjoyed a fantastic day out at Woodthorpe Garden Centre today with our wonderful team members Sharon and Abby!

They spent time browsing the shopping area, admiring the beautiful flowers, and of course, stopping for a relaxing cuppa. A lovely day filled with smiles, fresh air, and great company. 🌸😊

This follows our last outing to the Landmark Café and Woody’s Restaurant, where Residents enjoyed coffee with a view, and plenty of cheerful moments.

🐾 Animal Therapy at TWCC 🐾

Yesterday we had a very special visitor — our beloved therapy dog Hugo came to brighten everyone’s day! 🐶💛 The residents absolutely loved the cuddles, companionship, and calming presence this gentle pup brought.

Animal therapy has become a cherished part of life here at our TWCC. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed a variety of furry (and not-so-furry!) friends — from playful ponies and friendly dogs to a curious little tortoise! 🐴🐕🐢

These wonderful moments bring so much joy and comfort to our residents — and we’re excited to share some of those smiles with you. 💖

Every Sunday, our residents come together for a peaceful and uplifting online church service and Songs of Praise. It’s a cherished time of reflection, worship, and community spirit.

We’re also grateful for the welcome visits from the Methodist Church and the Church of England, who hold special in-person services that bring joy and comfort to everyone here.

Faith, fellowship, and familiar hymns – it’s a beautiful way to end the week. ❤️🙏

We’re thrilled to invite all residents, family, and friends to our next big event — a fun-filled Western Hoedown right here at TWCC! 🎵🌾🤠

We’ll also be holding a raffle on the day, and we’re currently looking for raffle prize donations 🧺🎟️ — such as hampers, vouchers, bottles of wine, or any goodies you’d be happy to share.

We want to give a big shoutout to our wonderful staff for all their hard work in transforming our sensory garden! 💚

From watering and planting, to cutting the grass, fixing what needed mending, and giving everything a fresh coat of paint – your help has turned it into a beautiful, calming space for our residents to enjoy. 🌿🎨🌺

Your care and dedication mean the world, and our residents are already enjoying the beautiful results. Thank you for going the extra mile to make our garden a place of peace, color, and joy! 🌞🌷

🇬🇧🌸 60's Themed Garden Party for Armed Forces Day! 🌸🇬🇧
We had a groovy time celebrating Armed Forces Day with a fabulous 60's themed garden party at TWCC 🎉🌼

Residents and staff dressed up in their finest retro outfits, enjoyed live music from a fantastic singer, and indulged in delicious food under the summer sun. 🎤🍰🌞

We were also delighted to welcome residents from Cranwell Court and Fairways care homes who joined us for the day — it was wonderful to share the celebration together! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special — and to our wonderful armed forces, past and present, we salute you! ❤️💙
