Hi everyone, well it's been a busy few weeks but not what I was expecting for Pearson's Pieces. I had Christmas fairs booked and so many plans to put in place but events at the end of October changed all of this. Unfortunately my amazing Dad suffered a stroke and two catastrophic brain bleeds which resulted in life changing and life limiting injuries for him. After 3 weeks in the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, where I stayed in hotels to spend every minute possible with him, he was transferred to Lincoln where he still is. Six weeks of ups and downs, family rooms with Doctors informing us he wasn't going to make it and all this whilst my Mum was terminally ill in our local hospital. Unfortunately my Mum passed away last week and myself and my siblings have been arranging the funeral whilst I still visit my Dad almost daily by bus 25 miles away. As you can imagine it's been very hectic and I haven't been around very much, all fairs, except for one, I cancelled and my page has gone to pot. I will try my very best after my Mum's funeral on January 8th to get back into some kind of routine but at the moment my concern is with my Dad who is still quite poorly. I do however want to wish you all the most wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year 💕 Xx
