🚜💙 Our Restored Fordson Dexter – Still Stealing the Show 💙🚜

Say hello to our beautifully restored Fordson Dexter — a proper classic that’s earned her stripes here at Halfway House.

She might be from a different era, but thanks to a bit of love (and a fair few spanners), she’s back to her best — and still helping out on site like it’s no big deal.

Whether she’s towing trailers or just sitting pretty for a photo, she always turns heads. Vintage charm, fully revived!

🌿 Grass Cutting Day at Halfway House 🚜
Site’s getting a fresh trim today – Ged and Oliver have been out with the mower and the Can-Am making sure everything’s looking spot on for a fully booked weekend.

Fresh grass, tidy pitches, and a bit of father-son teamwork to keep the place looking its best. Just how we like it!

Calling all dog lovers! 🐾 Did you know Halfway House 5 Pitch Campsite boasts a HUGE, beautifully maintained paddock just for your furry friends? It's the perfect spot for them to run, play, and get some exercise off-leash (under your supervision, of course!).

We know how important happy pups are to a great camping trip, and our paddock is just one more way we make sure everyone in the family has a fantastic stay. Bring your four-legged companions and let them stretch their legs! 🏕️🐕

🚜 New Wheels, Same Supervisor 🐶

Meet the newest member of the Halfway House team… our shiny new Can-Am!
Perfect for shifting bits around the site, hauling tools, and keeping those hedges neat and the grass tidy.

Of course, Lola insisted on being first to test it out (passenger princess as always 🐾).
She’s now promoted herself to Head of Transport & Treat Inspections.

Whether it’s a peaceful pitch or a pooch-approved tour around the site, we’re always keeping things running smooth!

Every time someone camps with us, we’re reminded why we keep it small.
No crowds. No queues. Just lovely people, a good view, and space to unwind.

We’ve got 5 pitches here – and that’s it. It’s kind of what makes it special.

Newly Refurbished and
Re-Opened in 2025, we
are a quiet adult only 5
pitch caravan/motorhome
site with sheltered grass
pitches. We can offer
electric hookups to every
pitch, toilets and chemical
disposal point. Well behaved
pets are very welcome, we
have a large meadow area
for exercise.

Located on the B1200
Manby Road towards
Saltfleetby just outside the
historic market town of
Louth (market day is every
Wednesday, Friday and
Saturday).

Situated on the edge of
the Lincolnshire Wolds, the
major towns of Lincoln,
Grimsby and Skegness are
within approx. a 30 minute
drive and we are close to the coastal towns of
Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe
and Sutton on Sea.

A short drive takes you to
the dog friendly beaches
of Theddlethorpe nature
reserve, Anderby Creek and
Huttoft. Fishing and golfing
are also within a few miles
