It’s been so good that we’ve actually been able to do the first grass cut of the season already! 🚜🌱

📢 No Video Today!

As mentioned in the last video, we’re changing our upload day to Wednesdays going forward.

Now the camping season is starting, weekends are getting busier on site at Halfway House Touring, so moving the videos gives everyone a better chance to watch them during the week instead of missing them while they’re out enjoying their own weekends away! 🚐

Didn’t expect to be taking this photo today… 😅

After waking up Saturday morning to the campsite looking more like a lake than a touring park, the last thing we thought we’d be doing any time soon was cutting grass.

But if you look closely… 👀
There’s a mower on the back of the Fordson!

Amazing what a couple of dry days can do. From flooded pitches to firing up the old Fordson again — the joys of campsite life!

One minute you’re worrying about draining water…
Next minute you’re wondering how the grass grew so fast.

We pushed hard this week to get ready for opening…

Long days. Big jobs. Everything nearly there.

Then torrential rain hit.

We woke up Saturday morning to find the campsite underwater 😬

Standing water across the pitches just days before opening week…

Is it money down the drain?
Will it recover in time?
Can we still open?
