I caught up with her at a 60’s Music event at the Trinity Centre Memory Cafe in Louth last week. If you haven’t seen these amazing signs to help aid understanding and communication why not give them a try? There are 4 packs- Communication, Personal Safety, Personal Hygiene and Activities. Memory Cafe in Trinity Centre was THE place to be this afternoon for 1960’s nostalgic fun.
Lots of good times, flower power and so much laughter. Dressing up, dancing and 1960’s entertainment. It really was a joy!
Well done everybody and especially Jayne Pegg for putting it altogether.

We have been very busy out in the community sharing Bob’sBrainwaves story and showing how the amazing Widgits simple picture signage with words help to aid understanding (as used by Chris at home to help her husband).
These are free to download off the website and are used by thousands of people all over the country. The packs are in 4 categories; Communication, Personal Safety, Personal Hygiene, Activities
Unique to Bob’sBrainwaves, we worked with Rebecca Lynch and the Widgit company to research what carers needed and wanted themselves to help them help their loved ones with memory loss around their homes. These are used in all manner of places now ( downloaded in UK and internationally) and feedback from carers, community connectors, care- home staff has been brilliant.

Absolutely knocked out by the generosity of the winning quiz team last night at The Woolpack in Louth. Not only are they incredibly clever but they auctioned off the prize ( the hamper) and then bought it back again! So incredibly generous. You can see how delighted I am as well as our treasurer Pat King. Thank you so much to Billy and his staff, the lovely Quiz master and all who came to support us. We together raised £540.00! All the funds will help families of loved ones with a diagnosis of Dementia navigate their journey ahead. Thank you so much. You are all amazing. 😀

Ready, set, quiz!..... ❓️❓️

Wednesday 23rd July 8pm we will be holding a charity quiz night. This will be held outside on our new patio.
All proceeds made will go to Bob's Brainwaves charity.

It will be £4 per person to enter and a maximum of 6 people per per team.

🏆The winning team will receive a hamper and meal voucher.
