Animal therapy truly brings life into Madeira House, and Princess is definitely a big part of our home. We love having cuddles with her, and she brings so much comfort and joy to everyone she visits.

This afternoon we also enjoyed a lovely game of bingo. It was wonderful to see so many people join in, and there were plenty of smiles all around. Well done to everyone who took part!

Mr Prince has been absolutely lapping up the cuddles and strokes today — and we’ve loved every moment of spoiling him. He’s certainly become the star of the home.

We’ve enjoyed a lovely mix of games this afternoon, followed by a fun little quiz that brought out everyone’s competitive side. Lots of laughter, lots of chatter, and plenty of happy faces all around.

✨ Energy, excitement, and a touch of elegance—it’s been an absolutely unforgettable day here at Madeira House! We hit the ground running with The Daily Sparkle, sparking wonderful memories and lively chats, before turning up the volume for a high-stakes, laughter-filled game of Giant Snakes and Ladders. To top off the fun, we transformed our lounge into a stylish boutique with a fantastic visit from Cloud Clothing, giving our residents the full VIP shopping experience right here at home. The energy at Madeira House Care Home has been absolutely electric today! We kicked things off with some high-energy armchair exercises to get everyone moving, followed by a wonderful session with the Daily Sparkle that had us all sharing stories and smiles. The highlight of our afternoon was a spectacular live performance from our favorite local singer, which turned the lounge into a full-blown concert hall! We kicked things off with some high-energy armchair exercises to get everyone glowing, followed by a wonderful trip down memory lane with the Daily Sparkle. The grand finale was a soul-stirring live piano session that had the whole room singing along—it’s been a truly spectacular day filled with laughter, connection, and pure musical magic! 🎶🎹💃
