Every year on September 13, we unite worldwide to raise awareness of sepsis. In 2025, our global focus is stronger than ever: reducing sepsis-related deaths, promoting prevention, and spotlighting milestones in the 2030 Global Agenda for Sepsis.

What are the symptoms of type 1 diabetes?

Toilet – going for a wee more often, especially at night.
Thirsty – being constantly thirsty and not being able to quench it.
Tired – being incredibly tired and having no energy.
Thinner – losing weight without trying to, or looking thinner than usual.

On Sunday 7 September at 3pm, the UK Government will conduct a national test of the Emergency Alerts system. Mobile phones will emit a loud siren sound and display a message, even if set to silent.

📱 Cervical Screening Results Coming to the NHS App from September 2025

From September 2025, the NHS will begin sending negative cervical screening results (normal results) via the NHS App.

✅ If your result is negative, you’ll get a message in the NHS App and a notification.
📬 If you don’t read the message within 72 hours, a letter will still be sent as a backup.
✉️ If you don’t use the NHS App, your result will continue to be sent by post.
❗ Abnormal results will still be sent by post for now.

This change follows a successful rollout of digital invites and reminders in June – 9 out of 10 are now being sent digitally!
