World Autism Awareness Day💙
For some people, bright lights, glare and busy visual environments can feel especially uncomfortable. Visual comfort matters, and a more individual, understanding approach to eyecare can make a real difference.
At Louth Vision Centre, we offer Visual Stress Assessments as well as advice on sensory-friendly eyewear and light sensitivity. These assessments can help identify whether coloured overlays, reading guides or tinted lenses may improve comfort, reduce visual stress symptoms, and support easier, more comfortable reading. Louth Vision Centre says its process includes a full eye examination first, then colour testing with the digital ReadEZ colorimetry system to find the most suitable tint for the individual, followed by ongoing review if needed.
If you or a family member experiences glare, headaches when reading, visual discomfort, or sensitivity to bright light, our team is here to help in a calm and supportive way. Louth Vision Centre’s Visual Stress page says coloured overlays or colour-specific tinted lenses can help reduce symptoms while improving reading speed and accuracy.
