We are hiring 😀

Help at Home Care is a home help service providing care and support to adults in their own homes in the Lowestoft and Beccles areas.
Our amazing team assist our customers to remain as independent and safe as possible with no two days being the same. If you think you can make a difference to someone’s life then we want to hear from you!
Our customers are all unique and have different needs, they may need support with:
• Personal care.
• Medication assistance.
• Meal preparation.
• Taking or going shopping.
• Light housework.
• Accompanying to appointments.
• Providing companionship in the home or go out in the community.
Ideally you will have care in the community experience but this is not essential as full training and ongoing support is given. The most important thing is that you have a passion for helping others.
As this is a community based job you will need to be able to drive, have access to a vehicle and live in the Lowestoft or Beccles area.
Our calls are between 8am and 9:30pm. You must have some availability to work every other weekend. We will work with you to find a working pattern for you.
Other benefits:
• 24/7 support from an experienced hands on management team who know each and every customer well.
• Customer visit times vary from 30mins -2 hours ensuring calls are not rushed.
• Hourly rate of £13.82 weekdays and £14.57 weekends. Enhanced hourly rate for bank holidays.
• Paid induction and training
• Paid mileage @ 40p per mile
• Company mobile phone and uniform
• Personal development opportunities
• Employee health and well-being programme
• Company Pension scheme

What a lovely review!. This is exactly why we do what we do – to make a difference in our customer's lives.

I have used Help at Home Care for the last few months. At the beginning I was very anxious and didn’t feel very confident. Help at Home Care sent a lovely lady to be my companion twice a week. We get on like a house on fire. We are both from the same part of the country before moving to Suffolk so we have a lot in common. I now have more confidence and I’m not as anxious. We now go out twice a week in the lovely lady's car and go for lunch and a coffee. Sometimes I just like her to drive us around different places sometimes we go shopping. I can honestly say they are the best thing to happen to me and would very highly recommend them to anyone .

We love hearing your feedback, below is some recent feedback we have received.

Karen and her team have provided care for my mother and her husband for the last 15 months. I would highly recommend Karen and her team as they have provided a professional, flexible and first rate care service. Privacy and safety is respected at all times and very reliable with punctual care and cover if any carer is off sick or on holiday. Nothing is too much trouble and Karen will provide the care which fits in with the patient and their family. We were very lucky to have found her and her team to help with our families needs. Karen even went clothes shopping with mum and literally nothing is too much trouble for Karen.

A massive congratulations to our carer Emmi who has welcomed baby boy Franky to the world weighing 6lb.
Both are doing well and enjoying a well earned rest at home.
