A Simple Addition, A Big Difference: The Power of Grab Rails

Getting in and out of the house should be safe and easy for everyone. But for older adults, people with mobility challenges, or those recovering from an injury, it can be a real concern.

That’s where grab rails come in! Installing these sturdy supports near entryways or on steps can make a huge difference. They provide stability and confidence, helping people move safely and independently in and out of their homes.

It’s amazing how something so simple can bring so much peace of mind. Everyone deserves a safe, accessible home—sometimes, a little support goes a long way!

We recently had the chance to help a lovely family with a simple but effective safety solution. Their child, who has some behavioral challenges, loves to explore the bathroom unsupervised—often putting the plug in and leaving the tap running. To keep things safe, we installed a thumbturn lock high up on the bathroom door, out of the child’s reach.

Now, the family can easily control access to the bathroom, giving them peace of mind without needing to rely on keys. It’s a small change, but it makes a big difference for them!

It’s always fulfilling to find practical solutions that make home life a little easier and safer.

We recently finished this beautiful wet room for a lovely customer, complete with a fantastic Closomat wash/dry toilet and a Mira shower. We also installed grab rails at the perfect height to make everything super accessible and user-friendly. It’s so rewarding to create spaces that really enhance our customers’ lives!
