2025....

Another year has come and will soon be gone and I am faced with a moment of reflection. The year that has passed has been another filled with highs, lows and the enormous privilege of being a part of other people's celebrations.

What an honour it has been to celebrate with so many beautiful families throughout the year. Celebrating life in all it's forms, from beginning to end, from naming ceremonies to funerals, from weddings to vow renewals, it has been my great pleasure to be there for it all!

I have worked with some of the most fantastic people and businesses as this year has progressed. I have continued to grow and my little business continues to move.

As reflect on 2025 and all that it brought me, I now look ahead to 2026 and all that is to come. I am excited for the new families I'll meet, and the new challenges I'll face. I'm ready for whatever this new year will bring!

From the bottom of my heart, I wish each of you a very happy new year!🫶🏻

Christmas

Well it's almost here, that wonderful time of the year. I would like to take this opportunity to wish a Merry Christmas to all of my followers and all of the beautiful families I have worked with over the course of this year.

I truly wish for each of you to have a magical day that fills your heart with gladness. Whilst I recognise this time of year may not be the easiest for everyone, it is my wish that you are able to hold love and hope in your heart during this festive season.

I also choose to take this moment to wish a Merry Christmas not just to my families but to all of the wonderful partners and businesses that I have had the privilege to work alongside. Your support means the world and I hope you are all able to take a well deserved rest over the coming days.

So from me to all of you, a very Merry Christmas!🎄✨️

What a blessing it is to be able to say this week has already been a busy one.

Yesterday was a double meeting kind of day. I had the great privilege to meet up with two wonderful couples who wanted to talk all things wedding. It was a lovely time to sit and talk and hear all of their ideas for their special days. And to top it off both couples have given me the great honour of being their chosen celebrant, how amazing is that!? 😍

Today continued to be busy with me taking the funeral services on behalf of a beautiful family at St Faiths Crematorium. It was humbling to be with them today. It was an honour to work with the wonderful team at the crematorium and to once again work with the team at murrants family funeral services.

Today marks the beginning of grief awareness week, and being so close to the festive season it seems a poignant reminder of how this time of year can be particularly difficult for those missing their loved ones.

There is a certain amount of comfort in the thought that grief has no timeline, it is not a finite thing to be measured. Your grief may not shrink in size but as time goes on we ourselves continue to grow and develop simply with this grief as a part of that. It is still there but given time will start to feel as if a smaller burden to bare.

As a Celebrant I do not simply disappear after a service. If you find yourself in need, you are always able to contact me. If just for a listening ear, I am still here for you.

Receiving feedback like this so often manages to bring a tear to my eye.
The truth is I will always put in 110% for any ceremony I am asked to perform, and when I get to hear that it has translated that way, it really does fill my heart with complete and total gratitude.
Thank you for entrusting me with such an important and precious moment.

Its beeen a very good week working with the fantastic team at Central England co-operative Funeralcare Lowestoft as we said
our final farewell to a very special gentleman. In this week of rememberance it was fitting that we had Standard Bearers and a Bugler to play the Last Post. Then later in the week we went over to Cromer Crematorium with the wonderful team from Murrant Family Funeral Services to say our fond farewells to a deerly loved lady who absolutely lived her life to the full.
It really is the most incredible privilge to be apart of these precious moments.

🕰️ Don’t forget the clocks go back tonight!

That extra hour might feel like a bonus, but shorter days mean darker starts and finishes on farm.

Be seen. Be safe. Stay alert.

Recently I had the great privilege of being asked to lead a naming ceremony for a gorgeous little family. Since then I've had a few questions about naming ceremonies.

What exactly is a naming ceremony?

Think of it as a celebration of your little one’s arrival. It’s the chance to officially introduce their name, share its meaning, and surround them with love from friends and family. These ceremonies can take place anywhere that feels right to you—a cosy home, a favourite garden, a woodland space, or even a local community space. I’m based here on the East Coast of England and I can tell you that in those summer months especially the beach is a very popular location choice.

For more information about naming ceremonies then please feel free to send me a message or pop over to my website www.nickwebbcelebrant.co.uk

Sometimes it is necessary to slow down and take a breath before making your next move.

A pleasant morning of contemplation, clearing my head, before heading back to the office to write up new funeral services.
