Hi, I'm Katina Chapman and I run Katina Chapman Hypnotherapy and Spiral of Light, offering a wide range of alternative therapies that complement each other. Each therapy is designed to help you empower your life, build confidence and feel stronger and healthier. I worked for over 20 years

in Human Resources as a HR Manager and Head of HR. During my time I helped many people overcome anxiety and stress, build confidence and empower their lives. I used the many skills I picked up coaching people as well as the more esoteric skills of meditation and other spiritual practises. I work with people who are looking to make positive changes in their life. Many of my clients are looking to manage stress, get rid of fears and phobias or lose weight and adopt a new set of habits easily. Habits that are realistic, that meet their goals and that they can live with in the long term. I recently helped a young girl, who was afraid of flying, fly for the first time to be a bridesmaid in Greece. I helped a boy with a severe fear of dogs, that he'd had his whole life, become relaxed around dogs and even get a puppy. I helped a business executive who was struggling to manage stress, increase productivity and be less stressed at the same time. I love helping individuals and groups make positive changes in their lives. Nothing encourages me more in my business than hearing the next client who says ‘you’ve changed my life.’

I make positive changes with clients in the minimum of sessions possible. I offer a telephone consultation free of charge and will give an honest opinion as to whether hypnotherapy is the way forward or not for an individual’s issues. This page concentrates on my Hypnosis and NLP side and how you can use these skills to gain control of your life and become more contented and fulfilled. The morning practice that keeps me aligned with my authentic truth 🧘‍♀️

Before checking emails or diving into work, I give myself just 10 quiet minutes to tune in and ask:

✨ How do I want to show up today?
✨ What feels most true to who I am in this moment?
✨ What would love do?

This simple check-in helps me stay anchored in my values, rather than getting swept away by the outside world. It reconnects me to my heart, so I move through the day with intention and grace.

Authenticity isn’t a destination — it’s a daily practice of coming home to yourself.

Reclaiming the Intelligence of the Body

For many years, I worked through tiredness, ignored discomfort, and treated my body as something to push through — not listen to.

But over time, I’ve come to realise that our bodies are intelligent systems of feedback, not obstacles to productivity.

By practicing simple somatic tools, like daily body scans, energy tracking, and honouring signals for rest or nourishment, I’ve learned how to access a much deeper form of wisdom.

Our bodies speak in sensations, not words.
And when we slow down enough to listen, we gain access to valuable insight that enhances not only our wellbeing, but our ability to lead, connect, and serve others with authenticity.
