The Great Kirkley Bake Off was a huge success this morning, we baked some delicious biscuits to enjoy with our cuppa whilst we chatted about our own experiences with baking and our lovely Peter discovered a new hobby that he thoroughly enjoyed 😋🍪

If you're going to keep fit then you may as well do it in the funnest way possible and that's exactly what we did, we worked on our upper body and hands this week with balloon tennis and the beanbag toss, we also toned up our face muscles with plenty of laughter and smiles as an added bonus 😄

Friday saw us host our annual Digni-Tea to highlight world dignity day with great success. Friends and families were welcomed in to celebrate with us, enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea made by our fabulous catering team and witness the dedication our staff have to maintaining the dignity of thier loved ones.
We also drew our Carnival Raffle and can safely say Elaine was very shocked to win for the second year running.

Thankyou to everyone that came and supported our "Kick Off The Carnival Party". We were so lucky to be able to sit outside and watch all the carnival preparations beforehand and then have a front row seat to watch the parade, we certainly made a whole day of it. With delicious food thanks to our friends at the_hut_uk Hut Lowestoft, music from The Black Dog Music Project and face painting by Crazysfx Artistry aswell as a craft stall and fete games we all had a day to remember.

What an absolute blast we had taking part in the Lowestoft Carnival parade today with our friends from Lilac Lodge and the Kingsley Homecare team. Moreen, Barbara, Andy and Christine did not stop smiling and waving and we saw so many faces we knew. Thankyou to everyone that came to join us at our carnival party, (post to follow once all the pictures are submitted) we hope you've enjoyed the day as much as we did. A huge thankyou to all our volunteers and staff who worked extra hard to make the day a success.
