Majority of today , should have been working in a Nursing Home, but due to various "lurgies" in the home.

Pointe shoes are constructed to be stiff so the ballerina can stay on their toes.

But they can also cause bunions. corns and hard skin.
As all the pressure is through the toes this may result in a stress fracture, and the unnatural angle of the foot can lead to developing plantar fasciitis.
