What a busy few days!! With the kids off school you as a parent are number 1 in them young children’s eyes. You are needed from the moment they wake up until they go to bed. It’s busy, amazing time the school holidays.

BUT REMEMBER

You must fit in the time to exercise, if you can’t get to the gym as I haven’t been able to, YouTube has such a great array of stuff. Joe Wicks adults and kids fitness, party games which you can do along with the kids to get some exercise in. Go for a walk with the kids everyday. Not only do you get exercise but the kids do and it wears them out in a fun way. Plan in a morning and afternoon session for exercise. The kids will love it.

BUY FOODS YOU WILL ACTUALLY EAT!

When your trying to lose weight remember when shopping that it’s important to actually buy food you’re ACTUALLY going to eat. Things which are healthy but you like.

If not you’ll dread having to eat at home and make actual excuses up to not eat something healthy. You’ll tell yourself you are too busy when in the true fact you just can’t be bothered to eat the food you bought.

Buy healthy food which you will actually eat even if the same damn thing for 3 days of the week. You don’t need to eat a different meal everyday.

Easy mid week work out to burn them muscles, I’m a massive fan of circuit training for fitness, strength and lean muscle building.

Squats
Jump jacks
Press ups
Side lunges
Shadow punching
Mountain climbers
Jump squats
Burpees
Elbow to knee crunch

Perform each exercise for 40 seconds and with 20 seconds rest inbetween.

You can go through this once or twice. 10 minutes or 20 minutes.

Controlling your mind and being strong in your thoughts and goals is such a massive thing when it comes to losing weight or any type of fitness.

Conquering your mind and being in control of your own thoughts and telling your mind you are going to do something everyday is probably the biggest and hardest goal.

Argue with yourself and tell your mind you are going to do something. Verbally tell yourself you are going to work out whilst getting ready. Grind that stuff in there. You control your mind and body. When you’ve accomplished a work out, compliment yourself and say well done to yourself.

You accomplished that!

Make easy changes to your life to make losing fat and getting healthier easy!

- Walk for 20 minutes in the evenings instead of sitting straight in front of the tv
- have only one snack a day
- don’t eat after 6pm or before 8am
- add 2 bits of fruit to what you eat a day
- cut out chocolate 3 days of the week

Easy things to make losing fat not seem so like so much a god damn chore.

Few things when signing up to be trained by myself

- I only work with serious enquiries to change people’s lives
- I have proven results with losing fat, building a strong mind set and having a much better relationship with food
- I only book in block sessions after a initial consultation
- You will learn new things and you won’t do what you think is the ‘norm’ for training.
- We go for REALISTIC results. Not the fake results you see online, we work around your work, your life, kids, wives, husbands, going out for food. Everything you have to consider to actually truly lose weight and to keep it off.

Hadn’t worked out for 3 years due to just concentrating on being a Daddy and working. Literally made no time to exercise, I had time but I decided not to. I acknowledge that I made no time to train. Even though I probably could have. I tried to eat as well as I could whilst having what I wanted. so I didn’t put on that much weight.

About a month ago I decided that I wanted to get back into training. So I started slow, I did a very basic work out three times a week for two weeks. 10 minutes max. Last week I added a kettlebell and did a basic work out with the Bells, 15 mins max. This week IM FLYING. My strength is coming back, I feel like I WANT to train. I’m planning times to train in my head each couple of days.

You don’t have to start off at 100 miles an hour, listen to your body, just doing 10 mins a couple of times a week even for a few weeks will get your body and mind into a totally different place. Everyone can do what I’ve just done. Whatever level you are.
