System After care
Wash once a week with a good conditioning shampoo in lukewarm water, Smooth on only, do not rub the hair as this will cause the hair to Matt. Don’t lean forward to wash your hair it will Matt the hair try and let the water gently rinse downwards.
Follow with a conditioner and rinse off.
Pat dry with a towel , do not rub.
Spray with a leave in conditioner and brush through with a brush covered with bobbled bits to protect the system.
Use a hairdryer on the cool setting only. But I advise you don’t use a hairdryer at all.
Use soft products that can be rinsed out easily.
Avoid saunas the heat can lift your system and possibly dry it out.
Only let a professional hair replacement colourist colour your system and cut it. It’s completely different to cutting and colouring your own natural hair.
Don’t shower before bedtime.
Changing the tapes if you have a lace system.
Use lace release on the top of your hair system to remove the tape from the lace/forehead.
Use lace release on a cotton wool pad and wipe your forehead and system if needs be. dry the lace before adding more tapes and stick down.
Tips-
If your system lifts try heating the area up with a hairdryer and stick back down.
When drying the hair point the hairdryer down the hair in the direction of your style. Waving hairdryer so the heat isn’t directly on one spot.
In summer try to cover your hair up and use sun protection.
If you’re a fidgety sleeper maybe use a satin/silk pillowcase.
Don’t shower just before bed. This allows your scalp to remain cool so your system won’t move around while you sleep.
