We are so excited to let you know that the Ludlow Christmas Fair raised £25,000 this year, another record total for us! We are thrilled to therefore be able to donate £22,500 to the RJAH (The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry) and £2,500 to the South Shropshire Youth Forum. These are both incredibly worthwhile charities and we know that the money will be put to good use.

Monday evening was a great success, as our overall visitors number increased. Plus it meant that Tuesday was a little less crowded so people could enjoy their shopping more. We hope you felt the same.

Hopefully see you all next year, but in the meantime, the committee wish you all a very happy Christmas 🎅🎁⛄

What a truly amazing couple of days! Thank you to all the incredible stallholders - we have had so many comments on what beautiful things you had on sale. Thank you to those of you who came along and supported us, spending lots of money that will make a huge difference to our two charities (League of Friends RJAH, and South Shropshire Youth Forum).

We couldn't have done it without the help of so many incredible volunteers; all the friends who helped in the cafe washing and drying up, clearing tables, serving & waitressing; the wonderful husbands who run the parking; everyone who made cakes and jams for our produce stalls; our raffle ticket sellers.

Thank you to our generous sponsors - Mark Wiggin Estate Agents and the Millichope foundation.

We will let you know how much we raised as soon as possible, but in the meantime -THANK YOU!

We are so excited that the Christmas Fair is almost here!

We will be opening our doors from 6pm to 8pm tomorrow evening and then from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday. If you want to attend both days, just let the ladies on the door know and they will put your name on the list so that you don't pay your entrance fee twice.

The Cafe will not be open on Monday, but Gasm will be selling glasses of their delicious fruit flavoured gin and sparkling wine, to help make your shopping that little more enjoyable.

On Tuesday, the cafe will be open all day selling coffee, tea and amazing homemade cakes, and from 12pm, light lunches. You can find the cafe in the Plymouth pavilion which is behind the main shopping area.

The fair is indoors so the weather isn't a problem and we do have lots of parking. However the racecourse policy is that dogs are not allowed in the building.

We can't wait to see you all!

A very exciting new stall for the fair this year. Peshawar Jackets sell tailor made nehru jackets for men and women. They are hand crafted using naturally dyed wool from the sheep that graze the nearby Hindu Kush mountains. Each one is unique and sustainable with crisp linen linings. They are cool in summer and warm in winter and perfect for all occasions whether outside or in. Also, beautiful angora scarves, cashmere wraps and throws in lots of colours, bobble picnic rugs and hats.

In addition to our main Charity, the League of Friends, RJAH, we also like to support a small local charity. This year we have chosen South Shropshire Youth Forum. It aims to meet young people’s diverse needs through creating individual and group opportunities for participation, education and celebration. Its core services are based on delivering youth clubs & play schemes, diversionary projects and helping to give young people a voice.

All money raised through sales at the cafe will go towards this wonderful charity, so we really hope you all come along and enjoy coffee and cake or a light lunch .
