What is Frozen Shoulder?

Frozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis, causes pain and stiffness in the shoulder.
Over time, the shoulder becomes very hard to move.
After a period of worsening symptoms, frozen shoulder tends to get better, although full recovery may take up to 3 years.

Physiotherapy with a focus on shoulder flexibility, is the primary treatment recommendation for frozen shoulder.

Ludlow Physiotherapy clinic has a full range of treatment options available, including diagnostic ultrasound, laser therapy, ultrasound, magneto therapy, massage and exercise.
Call the clinic on 01584 874046 to book an appointment with the physiotherapist 🙂

Does anyone you know suffer with SCIATICA?

A PROPER PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!

Ludlow Podiatry, Physio and Rehab Clinic can help you to combat this pain/problem.
We have the Triton Decompression Traction System (DTS) that can help many many conditions, including sciatica (see below for further problems it can help with).

Call us today on 01584 874046 to discuss how we can help with sciatica

Sciatica is pain caused by an irritated nerve, starting from the lower back or bottom and spreading down one leg.
Symptoms include shooting pain that starts in your lower back or bottom and runs down the back of your leg, often to your foot and toes.

The DTS provides traction and mobilisation of skeletal structures and skeletal muscles, which may be used to relieve peripheral radiation/sciatica and pain associated with:
Protruding discs
Spinal root impingement
Bulging discs
Hypomobility Herniated discs
Degenerative joint disease
Degenerative disc disease
Facet syndrome
Posterior facet syndrome
Compressions fracture
Acute facet problems
Joint pain
Radicular pain
Discogenic pain
Pr*****ed discs

The Triton traction device achieves these effects through mechanical traction of intervertebral discs, that is, unloading due to distraction and positioning.
