rances!) to help you remain CALM & RELAXED, letting you birth your baby in a very COMFORTABLE and GENTLE way.

70% of mums who use HypnoBirthing™ say they experience NO PAIN AT ALL!! Even though I was induced with Syntocinon, the strongest inducing drug which generally goes hand-in-hand with pethadine or an epidural as it makes the contractions so much stronger, I felt NO PAIN!! I arrived at the hospital saying that if I wanted drugs I was going to have them, but I didn’t need them! It's tried and tested techniques have helped THOUSANDS of women over the last 24 years birth their babies in COMFORT & BLISS! Kate Middleton can be counted amongst our HypnoBirthing™ mums, as she used it to birth Ptince George! The HypnoBirthing course consists of FIVE 2.5 hour classes, held in either small groupS or on a one-to-one basis in your own home. Check our EVENTS for all up-coming course dates.. I run courses throughout Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. WOOHOO....we've had another HypnoBirthing Baby!!

😍 Congratulations Clare & Alex on the birth of your beautiful baby girl...she is so utterly adorable!! 😍

And I'm so thrilled to hear that, although your birthing didn't quite go as you'd planned, you still had the birth that you wanted and that you had a wonderful experience.

You're right that I had a similar experience, my birthing didn't go at all as I'd planned. My plan of a homebirth in water ended when, at 35 weeks, my daughter kicked too hard inside and ruptured the sack. So I ended up being induced in hospital, hooked up to a drip, which ended in an emergency C-section.

BUT, because I used the HypnoBirthing techniques throughout I felt NO PAIN at any point (only an achy ni**le), I felt in control of the whole situation and both I & baby were happy & healthy throughout. Because these were the main things that I'd wanted from my birth, I too felt that I'd had my perfect birth.

Thank-you for letting me share your words below, they're so lovely to hear...

"We had the most wonderful little girl last week. N arrived via c-section as she was in a frank breech (bottom down) and wasn't for moving, despite our best efforts both holistic and medical.

We think your story of still having the birth you wanted following your hypnobirthing journey really resonated with us, as we feel exactly the same, and despite the medical nature we still had such a wonderful experience."
..I can't wait for another cuddle with little N!! 🥰

😍**Our next HypnoBirthing Course starts in THREE weeks**😍

Have an easier, more comfortable & more confident birth with Marie Mongan's HypnoBirthing™ - the internationally renowned hypnobirthing programme, accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.

The HypnoBirthing™ Course is a complete antenatal course, consisting of FIVE 2.5 hour classes held weekly in Tenbury Wells.

Starting the course as close to 20 weeks is ideal, to give you as much time to practise as possible, but if you don’t discover HypnoBirthing™ till later in your pregnancy (like me!) don't worry, it is never too late - I’ve taught couples at 38 weeks who still went on to have great births.

The HypnoBirthing™ Course benefits not only Mum, but also her birth partner, teaching them how to be the support that mum will need and giving them confidence in their specific and vital role.

When you book onto one of our courses will receive:
🌸 12.5 hours of teaching with an experienced HypnoBirthing teacher, having taught over 100 couples and having first-hand experience of using the techniques for my own birth!
🌼 A copy of Marie Mongan’s internationally renowned book, ‘HypnoBirthing : The breakthrough approach to safer, easier, comfortable birthing’.
🌸 Your own beautifully illustrated HypnoBirthing Workbook - which compiles all the course hand-outs and useful information, collated into one beautiful book
🌼 Your own copy of the exclusive HypnoBirthing Rainbow Relaxation Guided Meditation, to help condition your body to reach the deep relaxation that you’re wanting for birth
🌸 One-to-one telephone & email support throughout your pregnancy and beyond - there’s no such thing as a silly question, so ask away!
🌼 Additional private sessions if baby is running late or is malpositioned and could do with turning.

🎁 And EXCLUSIVE to our couples, a FREE HypnoMothering/New Mamahood Preparation Class (worth £45) to help smooth the transition into motherhood by giving you a toolkit of simple techniques to help overcome the common motherhood hurdles.

Class sizes are kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention, so booking your place sooner rather than later is recommended.

❤️😃❤️😃❤️😃❤️😃❤️😃❤️😃❤️😃❤️😃

🥳 WOOHOO....we've had our first HypnoBirthing baby of 2026!!

I'm so thrilled to be able to announce the arrival of our first HypnoBirthing baby of 2026...beautiful Baby H...YAY!! 🤩

Congratulations Elissa & Daniel on the birth of your beautiful baby girl, she is such a cutie!

I'm so pleased to hear that even though you ended up needing a C-section you were still able to utilise the HypnoBirthing Techniques, that they helped you to stay calm & relaxed....that's wonderful to hear.

And thank-you so much for letting me share your experience with everyone, it can be invaluable to know that the HypnoBirthing Techniques can still really help anyone needing to birth via c-section, as staying calm & relaxed will still be the order of the day...

"I ended up having to have a caesarean section because my blood pressure was getting too high. Although we didn't get our plan A or plan B we were still able to implement hypnobirthing techniques and I very heavily relied on the calming breath at various points, particularly whilst in the theatre, so remained relaxed and calm.

Many thanks for all your help and advice on our journey and for the extra help in trying to turn her around. We both really enjoyed learning the Hypnobirthing techniques and I'm looking forward to using the HypnoMothering techniques too."
..you're most welcome!! 😃

Just received this amazing feedback from one of my SleepTalk™ Dads....

"What a day! So we've done SleepTalk every night (14 nights) and noticed a change in W. There is a change in attitude definitely. Then today he comes home, proud as punch, with a headteachers award for showing values of caring and cooperation noticed by the headteacher in PE today. This is some kind of magic!!!! 3 weeks ago we were having screaming fits just the idea of going to school!!"

SleepTalk is both miraculous (& now magical!) in boosting a child's happiness and changing their behaviour.

** Would you like some CALM for Christmas? Wish you could be a HAPPIER family for the holidays? The Goulding SleepTalk™ Process can help **

Christmas can be a tricky time for some children and their families, it isn't always the 'Holly Jolly Time' that it should be.

Simply being out of the usual routine can create anxiety in some children, aswell as being 'stuck' indoors or being made to spend unwanted time with siblings or relatives, and this can often manifest in unwanted and disruptive behaviours.

However, there is something you can do to ease your child's anxiety, eliminate the unwanted behaviours and bring calm into the household.

The Goulding SleepTalk™ Process was developed in the 1970's and empowers parents to improve and balance their child's behaviour.

It's for parents looking for a simple, non-intrusive way to develop a child's emotional resilience and strengthen the mind's firewall, protecting it against the negative suggestions that bombard it daily, effecting their self-worth.

The dramatic positive changes and calmness it creates will permeate through the entire family, leading to a happier, healthier homelife for all.

It's been called "the two minute gift that lasts a lifetime". It's easy to learn and takes parents only two minutes to use at bedtime. It's absolutely safe, ethical and positive.

Parents and healthcare professionals have called the Process a powerful self-help programme which parents and childcare professionals have been using for more than 35 years.

They endorse it because it works - helping to reduce anxiety and stress, developing a positive self-confidence, empowering children to manage, improve and balance their behaviour, anxiety and relationships.

If you would like a free phone consultation to see if SleepTalk™ can help you, contact Rachel@Peaceful-Parenting.co.uk and for more information visit www.Peaceful-Parenting.co.uk

Here's to a happy, healthy holiday! 🎄🎅🤶

❤ "Teaching teenagers the science behind babies' brain development gives them practical skills as future parents" Oxford study shows ❤

😍😍 I love this!! 😍😍

I have long been fascinated/obsessed with the development stages of a child's brain and just how much we affect it, both positively & negatively.

For example, did you know that the foundations of a baby's brain are actually built within the first SIX weeks of pregnancy! This is before most women even know that they're pregnant!!

And that just as the chemicals from our food & drink cross the umbilical cord and effect the baby, so too do the chemicals that our body produces, our hormones, cross the cord and have the same effect on the baby's body as they do on ours. So our happy hormones cross the cord and effect baby, but so too do our fear & stress hormones.

Once a pregnant mum knows & understands this she can start to notice when she begins to feel all the emotions that produce these unwanted hormones and, where possible, make changes to limit them.

But don't worry, it's impossible to spend 9 months without ever feeling stressed, sad, scared or angry, and I expect it's important for the baby's development to experience all of these feelings whilst in the safety of their mum, the important thing is to do what you can to limit them.

So I am thrilled that more is being done to educate everyone about this and that in particular it's going to start being taught in schools!

🤩 Go Duchess Kate!! 🤩

** 😍 Exciting news for pregnant women!! 😍 **

The UK's healthcare watchdog, NICE, have updated their guidelines today to recommend that all pregnant women who begin to bleed should be given progesterone - a naturally occurring hormone that prepares & maintains a healthy uterus for the growing of a baby.

Research has shown progesterone can significantly help women who have previously suffered a miscarriage, suggesting it could lead to 8,450 more babies being born in the UK each year...woo!!

Of-course, there are many reasons a miscarriage may occur - one of the main being that the development of the embryo has ended (most likely due to chromosomal differences within the egg & s***m) - and progesterone will not help in these circumstances, but in circumstances where bleeding is the main issue this is fantastic news.

It isn't commonly known, but there is a direct link between progesterone and the stress hormone cortisol. Both hormones utilise the same receptors within the body, so if there are high levels of cortisol in the body, which there often are when we have been trying for a baby for a long time (starting a family can be a very stressful time!), there will be low levels of progesterone.

Which is why I promote & teach regular relaxation practise and mind & body techniques to keep cortisol levels low from the moment you've decided to become pregnant to the moment your baby is born, to help maintain a calm & relaxed life.

As someone who has suffered numerous miscarriages and had to firmly push (having been denied) to be given progesterone during my last pregnancy, I am utterly thrilled that NICE have made these changes, giving women an extra level of protection at a very difficult time.

Go NICE!! 😀

The treatment could lead to 8,450 more babies being born each year in the UK, experts say.

❤😀❤😀❤😀❤😀❤😀❤😀❤

I am so excited to have just received this birth story from one of my HypnoBirthing Mums for the birth of her second HypnoBirthing baby - beautiful baby Caleb!!

Because she & her partner attended one of my HypnoBirthing Courses a couple of years ago for the birth of their first son, I ran a couple of HypnoBirthing Refresher Sessions with them over Zoom a few weeks back, to go through the key techniques and do a little hypnosis work.

So, congratulations Sadie & Jack on the birth of beautiful baby Caleb. I am so pleased that his birth was as peaceful and calm as your first birth, with big brother Finn.

"..I went in on Friday to have a check for reduced movements and then got sucked into a 5-day battle with the hospital who wanted to induce me...They tried to tell me I had diabetes and said he was too big to be born at home or in the pool. Against ‘advice’ we declined any induction, apart from a sweep on Sunday.

Then Tuesday at 6pm my hind waters broke. 7pm contractions started, 9.20pm pushing, 9.46pm born! Jack was still frantically filling the pool... The midwife made it with 45 mins to spare and he came out in 6 pushes.

I had no painkillers or gas & air...We are still a bit shell shocked, but it was all perfect x"

Fantastic!! Can't wait to meet him! 🥰

“I was doing a lot of work to prepare myself and my body...I was looking forward to being in labor...I wasn't looking at birth as something scary.”

This might not have been the birth that opera singer Emily Geller Hardman had been planning for, but her birth preparation had certainly stood her in good stead for birthing her daughter in the back of their car!!

And that's one thing that HypnoBirthing gives you, the confidence to deal with whatever turn your birthing takes! 🙂

"I consciously made the decision to not freak out," Emily Geller Hardman tells PEOPLE
