A quote I’m loving at the moment that is so relevant to what we are currently experiencing and the upcoming New Moon in Leo, 20.11BST on Thursday 24 July, at 2 Leo:

As you’re probably aware, individuality can be a conundrum in these times. We’re changing so fast, and so much is demanded of us, that it’s a challenge to find stability in our sense of self. And yet the purpose of these times, as I see it, is the potential of soulful individuality that consciously tributes to collective awakening in unique ways – not necessarily in what we do, but in who and how we are being. Thankfully, in the rhythmic universe, we are given quieter phases, more inwardly orientated, as well as dynamic challenges, to grow that. We are given gathering points.

The upcoming Leo New Moon brings focus to growing individuality, yet as always, individuality within the field of emerging new frequencies of consciousness.

This year the emerging rhythms are profoundly new, due to outer planets changing signs. Yet their apparent forward-backward-forward motion means these profoundly new frequencies don’t begin to express or integrate fully until Spring 2026. This Leo New Moon gives us a benchmark of emerging sovereignty within this process for its geometry is profound and rare. It introduces an alignment of the slow-moving planets – Wise Elder Saturn, Mystic Neptune in Aries, Awakener Uranus in Gemini, and Lord of the Underworld Pluto in Leo – that guides collective evolution to 2028. In that, exploring & honouring your unique contribution within our collective evolution is valuable. You may think your involvement is minimal, yet every tiny momentary movement of consciousness towards love, wellbeing & conscious living IS that!

The Leo Moon encourages you to claim your uniqueness with courage, to express what’s truly important to you. The next seven New Moons build on this, taking us to the Saturn-Neptune exact alignment at 0 Aries on 20 February 2026. Much more to come on that. We cannot yet know how that alignment will manifest, yet we can tune into the opening frequencies of it within. We can live the questions we have about what being divinely human means. Right now the answers lie within the mystery of our soulful dreams & vision, within the very nature of our longing for a new way of living here on our sacred Earth. Honour that in you; acknowledge the signs in non-mainstream news that reveal healthy change, talk about it with those you know will hear you, energise it in your inner world, meditations, prayers.

Mary Magdalene’s Feast Day, in this potent year we are living through… a few years ago .am.jane.mary and I brought though the words ‘Jesus is returning, but not in the body of one man, in the bodies of many women.’

This embodiment of the divine is loud right now.

It connects up to above - the the sun - the light - the fire, meets in the heart of us, where the love of the earth - the mother - the juicy, herbacious lushness fertilises newness.

And (here’s the bit I hear is so important) we bring it into being in the centre. We allow these two energies to meet in our centre and then take it out into the world with our words, our actions, our movements through the world.

Mary Magdalene and the energy of the rose is here - will you bring it through?

Following the magic.

There is a kind of knowing that does not come in words.

It pulses under the skin. In the gut. In the weightless tilt of the head just before the wind shifts.

It is the knowing of animals. Of ancestors. Of land.

Before I ever had a name for it, I followed it, the shimmer in the air before a vision, the tightening in my stomach when someone’s words did not match their energy, the ache in my chest that told me the valley was calling, even when I had made other plans

And always, when I listened, the world unfolded.

This kind of knowing does not announce itself in certainty or performance. It does not belong to the cultivated mystic or the well branded witch.

It belongs to the body, the loved body, the attuned body, the awake body.

We forget that our ancestors were not reading books.

They were listening.
They watched birds. Felt soil. Tracked the turning of the seasons in their knees.

They followed the stories hidden in hoof prints, in dreams, in the flight of deer.

What we now call magic was once ordinary, a way of being in right rhythm with the seen and unseen world.

To follow the magic is to return to that rhythm. It is not metaphor. It’s a sensory reality.

To follow the magic is not to chase mystery. It is to slow down enough to feel the pulse beneath the surface.

It is the prickle on your neck when the old ones are near. The whisper of hoof behind the veil. The weight in your belly that says, turn this way instead.

The body knows how to listen.
The land knows how to answer.

You are not broken.
You are not too late.
You are remembering

Woven through all my work is the deep listening. Through our hands when we craft, through our feet when we walk on the land, through sitting in stillness on the river banks.

*Venus in Gemini trine Pallas Rx in Aquarius (19 deg)

Leo season is upon us once again. The sign of pride, power and royalty reminds us that we are each the centre of our own universe. True power comes from Leo's fixed assurance that self-expression is a right, not a privilege. The prouder this sign feels, the more joyous and generous it is.

The Sun is at full strength in the sign it rules - it gives life, it warms us. People do not literally have this power of course but the Leo idea is to be confident in your place in the universe, brilliantly displaying your talents (everyone has at least one talent) that bring joy and warmth to others (the audience).

This is Leo at its best. At its worst, we have the raging child or despot who burns everyone around them because they demand assurance they are special. It's the same, old story - no one can truly convince you you're worthy unless you feel it inside. But when someone already has power, mixed with this insecurity, the results can be ugly.

You don't need to be a celebrity, ruler or prodigy to get the most out of Leo season. Just do something that brings you joy. Do it without censure, without judgement. Do it because it makes you smile and maybe you have a knack for it. If someone pays you a compliment, don't brush it off - accept it with dignity.

Venus in harmony with Pallas Rx is the clever and appealing strategy. It's graceful, quick, unusual and a bit detached. It unfolds naturally, or you encounter someone with sharp wit and grace who presents the perfect solution. Venus/Pallas is also about exchanging info with others for the best shot at winning.

This aspect can also reveal patterns - Pallas is Rx so in a time of review, you suddenly see how the dots connect in a relationship.

*Venus in Gemini square the Virgo South Node/Pisces North Node (19 deg)

A square to the Nodes is a karmic crossroads. You can choose to slide back to the past (South Node) or move ahead to the unfamiliar future (North Node).

Here, we have Venus in Gemini: the double-sided issue involving relationships, money, values, creative work. This could be an attraction from the past or a familiar and tempting message or something you want. There are shades of grey to this - maybe yes/no, will they stay, it's not all bad but not all good. Maybe you have doubts about your worthiness or talent. You've been here before.

Appropriately, there are two ways to approach this:

1. lean into the past by trying to control every, minute detail or completely talk yourself out of this because you just know you're not good enough. You can look for holes and if you don't find any, make some. After all, this is not a concrete scenario. Or, you can try something different. Using the Pisces North Node energy, let go and see what happens. Don't try to micromanage, don't nail down every detail (you'll never be able to do this with Gemini). Just let go and see what happens. Give it a chance, give yourself a chance.

2. but if you've been down this road before and it's always led to heartbreak (mostly likely via the return of a familiar face) then this time around is probably not going to be different. So rather than trying to fix (Virgo) things in the hope that it will somehow work out, use the Pisces North Node energy to release. Turn away and leave all that baggage behind. Neptune (North Node ruler) is in a new sign anyway so it's time for something fresh.
