As we move into the colder, darker parts of the year keeping our movement practices going strong can be a little more tricky ~ come join our welcoming and warm studio classes to leave you feeling balanced and resourced from the inside out.

Join us for a cosy half day winter wind down with deeply relaxing yin yoga, yoga nidra guided relaxation, soothing sound bath journey + festive refreshments.

A great way to relax as we move gently into winter, and perfect timing if you want to slot in some Christmas market wanderings in the very pretty Ludlow beforehand.

🌞 Morning Magic Yoga 📆 Weds, Fri + Sat 9:15-10:15am ✨ The perfect way to start your day with a focus on breath and mindful movement, these classes are open to all levels of experience.

🌅 Combining sitting, standing and lying postures, movement is linked to breath in a steady, building way to leave you feeling energised, awake and open.

📆 Weds + Fri mornings are taught by Marie and Saturdays by Dani, each bringing their own unique flavour and background to the class.

🍁 Seasonal Rest: Yin Yoga Term 📆 Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm 🍁 Begins Thurs 13th Nov, runs 6 weeks ✨Join this dreamy, slow yoga session that your whole being will thank you for.

🍁 Based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin is an incredible style of yoga focusing on long held stretches that are usually seated or lying. Amazing for improving flexibility, it’s also very powerful for helping cultivate mental space/clarity and winding down.

🍂 Over the 6 week term we’ll focus on supporting the lung, large intestine, kidney + bladder meridians or energetic channels ~ the organs associated with autumn + winter in TCM ~ as we transition into the darker parts of the year.

🪵 This bi-monthly workshop blends mindful physical practice inspired by yoga, martial arts, strength + conditioning with conversation containers and seasonal themes - helping men cultivate self-awareness, release tension, connect with likeminded people + support wellbeing in an accessible, grounded way.

🍂 About your guide: .embody is both a teacher + student of yoga with over 10 years of experience exploring + developing holistic wellbeing through philosophy, psychology, yoga, meditation and martial arts.

Soothing Sound Bath, Fri 14th Nov, 7:45-9pm 🎼 Tickets on a sliding scale, Standard tickets £15 ✨

After last month’s sold out event we’re very happy to share this month’s sound bath with you ~ chance to lay or sit back as the vibrations from the singing bowls and other instruments transport you into a deeply meditative realm.

Benefits of sound baths can include pain management for existing conditions/a reduction in inflammation, lowered stress levels and improved sleep, cultivating a sense of clarity or calm and accessing a deep well of relaxation.

No experience is needed and this is suitable for everybody except pregnant folk + those with pacemakers. Come join us for a cosy + relaxed evening before the busy ness of the festive season is in full swing.

🌸 Slow Flow Yoga Term 📆 Weds 6:15-7:15pm, starts Weds 12th Nov + runs 6 weeks 🍂

🍁Join us for a weekly mid week check in with mind, body and breath. A vinyasa style class linking ongoing fluid movement with breath and intention, we’ll build heat within the physical body and cultivate clarity and flexibility in the mind.

🦚 This term will focus on the crown chakra and creating length through the spine and central channel of the body. These sessions are best suited to those with some yoga experience.

Not sure which of our classes to try? Here’s a brief comparative guide to help you decide…

🌞 Morning magic sessions are created with the mindset of welcoming you into the day gradually through increasingly dynamic movement and breath. It’s an open level class.

🌸Gentle yoga is a slower, less physically intense practice that makes an ideal entry point for those looking for a beginner friendly or simply slower tempo flow class.

✨Slow Flow is a vinyasa style practice linking breath and steady continual movement. This is a more challenging physical practice and better suited to those with some yoga experience.

🍁 Yin is a completely different style of yoga to its yang counterparts and it’s hallmarks are dreamy long (90 second +) held seated and lying poses to help you unwind and rest. Suitable for everyone.

🪑 Chair yoga is a seated yoga practice ideal if getting onto a mat is tricky. Suitable for everybody and still lovingly challenging physically ~ if you want it to be!

🧠 Yoga to Support Mental Health is a gentle, mat based session with a similar sequence each week with gradual variations. It is offered through a trauma sensitive lens.

🍁Our gentle yoga sessions are slower paced and include mindful movement, relaxation and breath work. They’re a great option for beginners or those simply wanting a slower pace.

🪬The theme for this autumn into winter term is exploring the qualities of the chakras or energetic centres, specifically the crown. You don’t need any previous knowledge of this!

Did you know we offer two fully subsidised classes a week through our CIC in a bid to make the benefits of yoga more inclusive + accessible?

Yoga to support mental health 🧠 Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm starting Thurs 13th Nov

This is a gentle, mat based practice taught through a trauma sensitive lens that follows a familiar format each week with some variations gradually added.

Chair Yoga 🪑 Fridays 10:30-11:30am starting Fri 14th Nov

A seated yoga practice using the chair as a seat and occasionally as a prop. Sessions are a mixture of focus on breath, movement and relaxation.

No experience/flexibility is required for either and both are free to book via www.marchesmovement.com. Cash donations are welcome if people would like to contribute to help sustain future sessions. If you have any questions feel free to drop us a message ☺️
