In loving memory of Carl, whose first anniversary occurs on 26th April 2026.

Deeply loved and forever missed by his devoted wife Caroline and his cherished children, Aibhilín, Rían and Caoimhe. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by the entire family circle and all who knew him.

Carl died suddenly on Errigal, Dunlewey, Gweedore, County Donegal.

His Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 26th April at 9.30am in the Sacred Heart Church, Dunlewey, and on Friday 1st May at 6.00pm in St Colman’s Church, Kilwarlin, Moira.

It was a sudden parting,

Too bitter to forget,

Those who loved you dearly,

Are the ones who can’t forget.

We often sit and think of you,

And think of how you died,

To think you could not say goodbye,

Before you closed your eyes.

The blow was hard, the shock severe,

To part with one we loved so dear,

Our loss is great, we’ll not complain,

But trust in God to meet again.

Two tired eyes are sleeping,

Two willing hands are still,

The one who worked so hard for us,

Is resting at God’s will.

The families of the late Collie Avery and Andrea Dummigan wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who offered sympathy and support following their recent loss. Losing them both within such a short time has been especially difficult, though there is some comfort in knowing they are now together again.

We are very grateful to everyone who visited the home, attended the funerals, sent Mass or sympathy cards, or offered help and support in any way.

A special word of thanks is extended to the doctors and nurses of Ward 2 West at Craigavon Area Hospital, along with the Marie Curie nurses and the District Nursing Team, for the care and kindness shown to Andrea during her final days. It was greatly appreciated by her and by all the family.

We also wish to sincerely thank McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Directors for their compassion, professionalism, and quiet support throughout this difficult time. Their guidance, attention to detail, and the dignity with which they carried out both funerals brought great comfort to the family and helped ease the burden at a very sad time.
